Author's Note
“ I am the more reluctant because my warning may be in vain. Doubt of the real facts, as I must reveal them, is inevitable; ”
At the Mountain of Madness
H.P. Lovecraft, 1936
This collection of short stories in the first person is intended to give the reader a brief glimpse of a gothic setting to which I am very attached.
Over the course of years of reading in all genres, a personal vision of the supernatural world has emerged in my mind.
To claim that something doesn’t exist just because we can’t prove it is, in my opinion, rather arrogant.
Therefore, I have taken the liberty of describing some events as I see them happening on a daily basis beyond that Veil that separates us all from a world that is beyond the natural and the rational.
About my alias as Author, it’s a trick between the fact I’m a dumb wilson and I’m truly alone.
I hope to share with you a few hours of healthy reading fun.
Yours sincerely,
Wilson Solo
