Relentless
"This is one of the best suspense novels I've ever read! The level of detail to the narration is absolutely splendid and the way the characters and their daily emotional upheavals are described is just outta this world! In fact, sometimes I was getting an impression I was watching a movie or TV series because of how picturesquely all the scenes were depicted, which allowed to visualize them almost down to the very tee. Also, the plot-twists perfectly delivered at keeping me puzzled about who the real kidnapper was and what his or her motive for kidnapping the baby could be. Even though realistically there was only a handful of working theories available, every time I learned the actual truth about each action to have led to the crime itself, it was almost always a shocker to me. And, of course, the climactic open ending to the story totally drove the nail home! Altogether, an all-around perfect work, in my opinion - not one single point to critique that I could possibly bring up. I just wish this novel gained more attention in terms of number of reviews, which it so rightfully deserves. Otherwise, should be a must-read for every respectable suspense novel fan with a knack for crime/mystery plotlines. Congratualitions on creating such a masterpiece!
