Moana’s Life
Moana leaned on Colin’s chest while catching her breath from her near-death moment “Colin I’m sorry” he put a finger over her lips “you don't have to be sorry, I doubted myself to begin with, and when I doubt myself no one is to blame but me.” she pulled away from him and smiled “Love scares me, I can sail across the seven seas without a second thought but when it comes to feelings I get closed off and shut down.” he rubbed her hand and said “I get it, love is scary but if there is one person I would want to love is you”
“I thought you were mad at me, Colin and that's why I avoided you when I got back. I'm sorry I was not open to feelings but if what I'm feeling right now is as real as it feels I believe my two huge journeys in life are completed” he laughs “I was not mad, I was disappointed that you did not include me on the epic journey to begin with. I mean we talked about it ever since we learned the about legend of Maui” she laughs “I know I goofed up, I'm sorry”
They both laughed and looked at each other she went through his wet hair and he went through her wet hair before their lips softly touched in a slow kiss. He has longed to kiss her especially since he feared that he would never see her again after riding out to meet Maui. She told him all the adventures and death-defining things she did and through some of the storytelling it sounded exciting but scary also it wasn't until Moana felt a tear she began to think something was wrong. She pulled away from his lips and he turned around embarrassed.
“Colin look at me, it's ok” he folded his arms and said “Every day I waited for you on the shore, didn't sleep, hardly ate anything hoping and praying that you were ok. I would have dreams about myself waiting for years and then one day I had a dream that you never came home. Do you have any idea what that did to me?” she smiled “I honestly do because, besides my home and family, the main thing I wanted to see again was you, Colin. You and my Grandma kept me going when it was so easy to turn back”
He turned around and went to her “Perhaps it was my hopes and prayers that kept you going the entire time. Because the main desire besides going with you was for you you to come back home safely to me and your family just so I could look into your gorgeous dark eyes again and finally get a chance with you” she smiled and blushed from his sweet words and said “I am sure without you I would have given up and hearing this has made me want to be with you” he smiled and hugged her.
“Who knows maybe another adventure will present itself and we can have memories of it” he commented to Moana “I truly hope that is the case because it's been months since a good adventure has come our way and to have you by my side would be amazing.” she held his hand and at that moment they were approached by 11 girls who saw them having their beautiful moment and they grown accustomed to delivering bad news to couples by now there was no way that they can sugar coat the devastating news what was going to happen anymore.
“Don't you remember being all lovey-dovey like that Snow before being placed in this land?” Aurora asked her while Colin and Moana looked at them. “Oh yes I do, this place may seem amazing at first but it will take everything you love. Head our warning and don't fall in love with her Colin” Snow White has given up even though this would be the 12th guy and she could get her love back “Snow what are you saying? We are so close to getting our men back and he's counting on you to find him” Aurora said to her.
Moana and Colin have heard about the disappearances and they truly did not care because he knew that he would be found having the greatest adventurer of all time find him. “I'm not at all worried about that because this woman right here sailed the seven seas to bring life to our dying island and if she can do that she can do anything. If I were you I would let her help you in finding them if worse comes to worst.” this is everything the 11 needed to hear. Moana and the girls smiled at him hearing the confidence coming from him.
The 11 girls plus Ralph were discouraged and who could blame them after nearly two weeks of losing people who are near and dear to them? This day would be the day when all their planning and scheming and learning every little thing about these mermaids would come to fruition. “I will be delighted to help you girls either way. I have been chomping at the bit to have another epic journey and what better way to do it than to save the world from these mermaids?” Moana told them hoping they would include her in this adventure.
“If you are truly that great then welcome aboard,” Ariel said to Moana, and at that time they noticed Colin spacing out across the landscape “Colin, are you ok?” Moana said to him and he said “They are taking over me, I'm so sorry Moana. I know their plan and they want me to tell you because it's too late to stop them. The next stage of their plan is to fill all the guy's memories with what they want them to be. Our memories will be completely wiped and replaced with memories of the mermaids and no one else.”
The girls started to cry but Moana listened to everything “We will also be turned into mermen to be the mermaids, perfect mates so their kind can continue to exist. Lastly, a new land will be created where mermaids and humankind can exist together but the worse thing is you 12 girls will keep all the memories and know that the better creatures won. This is revenge against humankind who broke our father King Trident’s heart and revenge against his rebel daughter, Ariel. Enjoy being alone you 12 girls.” Ariel stood there stunned and they watched as Colin ran away.
Once Colin reached the underwater land the girls looked at Ariel in disbelief “It's your fault we are in this” Cinderella said to Ariel “No it's not my fault, he is the one who threw me out of the kingdom because I wanted to conquer the world when he didn't and now I am good and he's evil. I do not understand this at all” she tapped her chin “Ladies I'm sorry I was not honest with you but it is time for the ultimate showdown between us and my entire family and I won't leave until I make things right”
They smiled at her and at that point, the earth shook under them, and at a distance, they saw a huge land arising from behind the mountain range and all Ariel said “Bring your worse father because we are bringing our worse. Nothing will stop me from stopping you”
