A January Night
Banned from nearly 30 stores around her for unpaid coffee bills, she searches around houses, lurking near their windows at night, waiting for night shift workers to finish their cup of coffee and leave them for wash in the kitchen.
Her hands steady, and with her brown camouflaging gloves made out of cotton (so it absorbs every drop as she steals), she stares through a window. She knows it's the last few drops left running through her veins, she suddenly slaps herself to concentrate at the task ahead. As he turns the light off, the coffee in the half empty cup reflects the moonlight bouncing off the glossy fridge into her eyes, like a pirate spots gold shining from a hundred metres away. She thinks to herself, " wow! Tonight is a real Bounty!". She pours some lemon juice over the window screws to loosen them, then rotates the screwdriver to unplug one of the screws, carefully placing it in one of the crevices. As she climbs through the opened window, the scent of the coffee increases her motivation causing her to salivate, reminding her of the lack of coffee in her mouth, and amplifying her motivation. She reached near the cup, now she finds herself stuck in a dilemma, as she often is, should she drink it right away and take more risk to search for more?...
When she is around coffee, her sense of taste and smell are elevated, reducing her hearing sensation, so she decides not to risk staying their longer, she pours the coffee into her bottle and leaves, carefully patching the window back with it's screws, and using the suction pump to drain the excess lemonade
As she sits in her house about to enjoy the coffee, she begins to listen to messages from her answering machine, "hey, Ayesha, where have you been? there's a party tomorrow at my place, better be there" .... Beep. Now she has to make a decision, go to that party and expect coffee to be there? Or steal some from one of her guests vacant houses?
