"This is the very first piece of fantasy fiction that I have ever read. And I can say with all honesty, I absolutely loved it. As someone who had never been able to get into fantasy writing prior, I was swayed to read this story by my affection towards the author and her creative pursuits. However, it wasn't long until I came to realise that I was reading this story purely for me! I enjoyed all parts of it and found myself hooked on every chapter. Multiple times did I gasp or put it away to recover from whatever emotions I was feeling. It took me on an emotional rollercoaster, that's for sure! The character development was wonderful - I really felt immersed in the story and, as someone totally new to this genre, I was relieved to find the characters easy enough to follow without getting horribly confused. The universe the author created was enticing and credible. I found it really easy to imagine a vivid and rich environment thanks to her descriptions. All in all, I really did love this reading experience. I'm really delighted to have read it and I consider it a privilege. I can't wait to see what else the author has in store for us!"
