The Man in the Sunglasses
Three months ago, all hope seemed lost when Superman defeated Batman and put him under his control. Using Brainiac’s technology and his spaceship, he placed Batman under his control and freed his regime. He then locked up his own cousin, Kara Zor-El, better known as Supergirl. The world was once again under his iron rule, and even the Insurgency seemed like a lost cause. It all seemed hopeless, with no end in sight. That was until a man in a pair of sunglasses appeared seemingly out of nowhere.
The man in the sunglasses broke Supergirl out of Stryker’s Island single-handedly, and together, they rushed to find the Insurgency. A small band of superheroes and villains, whose only goal was to defeat Superman and return true peace and justice to the world. The Insurgency consists of such as Green Lantern, Green Arrows, Flash, Black Canary, Firestorm, Blue Beetle, Catwoman, and even Harleen.
With the aid of the Insurgent, The Man and Supergirl were able to succeed in pulling off many different missions. They were able to destroy the Watchtower before Superman could complete his fusion cannon. They were able to find and recruited other former villains such as Cheetah, Reverse-Flash, and Captain Cold to join them in the Insurgent. They were even able to break into Superman’s base, New Metropolis, to rescue both Firestorm and Blue Beetle from the clutches of Superman. Finally, after three long months, things were beginning to change for the better.
