"Ring!,Ring!,Ring!" The bell rang. It was another evil day starting. Shoving every child towards the deadly breakfast rooms with something not even likely to be called a meal. After that just work,work,work!
As always with an empty stomach I was washing dishes. Wishing that this miserable life would end up. But as the sun stared at me with its cunning smile all the hopes dashed away from me leaving me in the hands of depression.
Just as all of us were working Miss Morantina's sharp voice made everyone alert and active at once. She was our madam in the orphanage and was very cruel. She made everyone work perfectly and could not bear any fun which was nonsense to her. She was a pretty greedy woman.
Well so Miss Morantina had come to ask everyone to be quick and wind up their work. "Enid Adewhale!Be quick. Don't you understand we are expecting visitors." 'Ohh! Yes mam sorry." I replied in a hurry. I knew like every week some people would come to adopt children and would directly go to the small babies area while we would just stand there in a line feeling completely ignored. Another call from Miss Morantina made me flee into my room. I wore my white and yellow skirt blouse, brushed my hair with smooth curls and got ready.
