Maidens Love
There once was a maiden
Who was courted by one mistaken.
She was gracious and vivacious
But he was a snake, unfaithful, blind and mendacious.
They have been together
Supposed to be forever.
Except there was another
So the maiden, like a rabbit, was to suffer.
She always was sharing and caring
With her love who at night was never appearing.
It was to be through thick and thin
But it all came down to her skin.
For one night she layed in a pile of blood when
Her love came home and he found himself deep in a den.
He realized what he had lost
And had to pay for what it cost.
For now the man had learned
That he must also care for anothers world.
