Introduction: Regalia
Project Regalia, sponsored by the government, is a leading learning facility designed to produce excellence among young adults.
16-year-olds all over the country are selected by the Central Academic Coordination, responsible for the internal work in the academy.
Contrary to most other schools and universities, this selection process doesn't involve any exams or tests. But it is also unclear what criteria is used.
For a country-wide event, not much is certainly known about it.
It is known that only 10.000 students are selected every year, and rumor has it that to be elected, teenagers must show the values of the institution: Tradition, Learning and Innovation.
This is also not your traditional education, it is on par with degrees offered by universities, but there isn't a specified timeframe to be met to finish one's studies.
On July 7th, selected students are informed every year of their invitation to the academy. Naturally, everyone accepts the invitation, since graduates are said to be met with guaranteed success.
Since it is government-sponsored, families don't pay a penny for any of the services provided to the attending teenagers.
The city of Regalia provides full accommodation for students to live in its borders, which remain closed until graduation. Central sustains that this policy is kept very strictly to allow the participants to earn independence.
That's right, their academic program focuses not only on subjects, but also on real life experience.
