The Cursed Creature

At a breezy Christmas Eve , it was 3 am Ela just arrived and was brutally knocking on the door . Ela in a drunk state, leaned on the door as she stumbled she realized that the door was open and her grandma, along with a creepy doll, is standing in front of her. She abruptly pushed her old granny out of the way and walked towards her room . When Ela was gone her grandma started to mumble to the doll in her hands saying ,” This spoiled little brat is just like her mother. I wish she was like you . Her mother never full filled duty of being a mother . Now I will have to wait till her parents are not home to make sure she doesn’t sneak out of the house in this drunk state again.” The grandmother played with doll after the death of her husband . Ela, earlier in the party, had an argument with her friends as they refused to give her a shot since she was already very high. Ela was pissed of her grandmother’s constant taunting that she decided to get rid of her once and for all. Meanwhile their pet dog named Oliver in the corner kept witnessing all which was happening. The next morning, when the parents arrived, they saw grandmother dead in her rocking chair and Oliver having a doll in his mouth crying out loud. When they looked for Ela they saw that she was peacefully sleeping in her room . Later that day, during grandmother’s funeral, Ela was all numb sitting in the corner traumatized. A few days later, after the grandmother’s death, Ela’s mother told her to tidy up grandma’s room so that it can be used later . The time Ela opened the door she felt a great push but there was nobody in the room who could push her so she ignored it and went into the room along with the push there was unbearable smell which she noticed was coming from a doll collection her grandmother had loved . Now that grandma is dead, Ela decided to throw the whole collection of dolls to the dumpyard at the end of her neighborhood. She packed the dolls together and threw them in the dumpyard. When she came back she saw grandmother’s favorite doll in Oliver’s mouth so she snatched that one as well and threw it but when she came back she saw the same doll in Oliver’s mouth drenched in blood even blood was dripping off Oliver’s mouth. Ela ran to her parents panicking and telling them all which happened and all she saw but when she came along with her parents she to show them there was no doll in Oliver’s mouth neither any blood. Her parents thought that all she saw was an hallucination but they didn’t knew what their daughter saw was right and what was going to happen to her soon . The same night as she was walking past her grandmother’s room Ela felt that someone is on the rocking chair . She opened the room’s door but there was nothing as the turn back she heard the tap of that is opened she again turned around and saw the favorite doll of her grandma sitting on that rocking chair . Seeing that Ela was so much scared that she fainted. Next morning when Ela’s mother came down stairs she saw Ela sleeping in her grandmother’s bed peacefully surrounded with some creepy dolls. Her mother went to her waking her up . As Ela was up and back to her senses she started screaming finding herself in her grandma’s bed and she left the room in a mad way . This behavior of Ela was extremely shocking for her parents so they decided to take her to a psychiatrist . When they visited the psychiatrist the doctor told them that Ela is absolutely fine , there is no issue with her mental health and that She might have behaved abnormally because of the strong bonding with her grandmother . For a few days everything became normal and the parents were happy that Ela was coming back to life however this was their misconception. The same day Ela saw a nightmare that her grandmother’s doll is killing her brutally with a knife. Her eyes open in fear and to her surprise that was the same doll standing above her with the same knife about to kill her. She howled it her father came running followed by her mother at that time Ela was unable to catch her breath still she pointed with her right hand towards Oliver but the parents found their dog sleeping and they didn’t notice the knife beside him . The very next afternoon the parents were discussing about Ela’s abnormal behaviour when they were desperately freaked out to see the daughter coming out of her grandmother’s room dressed the same way her granny used to do and playing with creepy dolls the same way granny used to do. Her mother was horrified to see all this and she started screaming but Ela yelled in her grandmother’s voice to shut up. This evening was very terrifying for the whole family. As soon as the sun poured through the house the father went running to Church calling for a priest . When the car was parked in front of the house the priest said that he is able to feel something supernatural in the house . They entered the house and found Ela’s mother trembling as they saw Ela coming out of the room of grandmother with the knife in her hand indicating that she will kill herself but the priest got a bottle out his coat and threw it on Ela . She yelled and said ,” She killed me I won’t leave her alive. She threw away all my prized possessions.” Saying this Ela attacked her mother with that knife but Oliver ran and jumped in between the knife and mother, sacrificing his life to save his owner. The priest got the same bottle of holy water and he threw it again at Ela and she fainted. Then he told the father to tie Ela tightly with a rope to a chair. Then he suggested the family to get the doll which the grandmother loved the most and bury it with the granny. Then the father along with the priest went to the graveyard. They dug the grave of granny , opened the coffin , buried the doll with the grandmother and sealed shut the coffin. But the priest felt something unusual was and happening at home. He ignored and helped the father with the burying. After all the paranormal activity, the graveyard seemed normal then ever. When the two returned home, the mother told them that Ela at a certain point, was yelling and shouting “Yes come to me...” She was petrified when hearing this. After few minutes Ela turned calm and normal. She went to check up on Ela and she was fainted as if she never woke up. She closed the door and backed away. The priest also said that at the graveyard he felt something. Then Ela woke up and she had forgotten everything which happened after grandmother’s death . Then everything came back to normal and Ela along with her family shifted to a new town as her family didn’t want to live with the bad memories which they had faced in that house .
