Amanda

All I remember was the sweet smell of honeysuckle and the sound of the footsteps gaining on me. There was no point in trying to run, SHE found me.

Hi i'm Amanda Travis and this is the story on how "SHE" came to be.

It was a simple Sunday morning. I had just woken up and walked downstairs to see my brother cooking eggs and bacon.

"Mmmm that smells good Jack! But why are you making this? Usually you just give me a bowl of Cheerios and tell me to leave you alone."

"Well it is your last day of summer break and I thought i'd do something nice." He said, a tone of sadness in his voice.

"I know I haven't exactly been the best brother ever since mom and dad died."

Yep you heard that right. You see about 5 years ago, I had just turned 10 and my parents wanted to take me and my brother on a camping trip to celebrate. We all huddled up in the car and drove off. We were having so much fun singing and talking about all the activites that we were going to do.

When we got to our campsite, my brother and father started setting up the tent while me and my mom looked for firewood. We all settled down by the fire. We were surrounded by trees and honeysuckle. It was amazing. We started telling ghost stories and making smores. After about three hours of stories, we all decided to get in the tent and settle down for the night. As I was walking towards the tent I looked down and saw my reflection in the puddle. I don't remember much of it only that, that wasn't me in the puddle's reflection.

That morning me and my brother Jack woke up, but we were the only ones in the tent.

"That's odd." I said to myself. We got up and started to look for them. I was calling out their names and Jack was calling their phones. Neither of us got an answer.

Faerah: A really good idea of a storyline that has so much more potential. In the two week delay, the second week has no depth and could have been better dramatized with at least two of the three agreed meetings occurring, less time spent away with Mia and more time spent with indifference and contradictio...
