Chapter 1
"Hayla today is the day." "What are you talking about?" "You need to get in some comfy clothes that are casual and are not sweats." "Why?" "So you can go to camp with me." Hayla groans annoyed. She hates camp and all the noises. "Come on." Hayla gets up and go finds some clothes. When she comes out she looks like she definitely does not want to go. "Great let's go. I already have some other clothes for us in the car." Hayla sighs and then they finally make it to the car. About an hour later they make it. We are here come on you should be happy." "Yay." Hayla says sarcastically. "Good enough." They get out and walk past the welcoming sign. "See this is great. Right?" "Yeah, amazing." "The buses will come soon so get ready. You are going to do one bus and I will do another." "Ok." "Time to meet some of the other workers on the campsite." Hayla sighs. They walk inside of a big cabin. "Hello." "Hey, this is my daughter Hayla she will be helping us out here." "Ok will she also be a camper?" "Yep." Hayla looks at her mother annoyed. "Ok let's start with buses they are here." "Ok." They walk onto the first bus. "Some of yall know me and some of yall don't so just call me Clara. Now when you get off you will be assigned a cabin. Some with new people and some with people they already know." Clara signals them to come down. "Hayla do that bus over there." "By myself?" "Yes just look at the paper and the names." "Ok." She walks over to the second bus. "Name?" "Jamar." "Cabin 4." The boy walks off and more and more come down but only one boy she remembers the most. "Name?" "Edward." "Cabin 12." When the boy walks off so does she. "Hayla come on we have to get you in a cabin." Hayla looks back in the direction the boy went but he was gone. She sighs and walks back to her mother. "Ok, let's go. Your cabin is 13 on the girl's side." "Ok." "Here is a map to get to the cabin." "Ok." When Hayla makes it after a whole 20 minutes she walks in. "The girl is here." "Hi I'm Kalani. You might have met my brother Jamar." "Hi, I'm Hayla." "Cool." "OH I'm Salena." "Hi." "Now that that is out the way do you have a swimsuit?" "No." "Do you know how to swim?" "Yes." "Good here is a swimsuit. Our first activity is swimming in the lake. We have lake activities." "Ok." Hayla grabs the swimsuit from Salena and goes to try it on. It's surprisingly a perfect fit. "Come on girls it's time to go." "Also be prepared for all the boys here. Some of them are taken and some of them are just to perfect." "Ok." We walk to the lake. "Ok I'm glad everyone has made it safely. Our first activity is Volleyball. Some people can do it in the lake or you can stay on ground and go over to the volleyball court." "Remember boys against girls. So everyone pick your team and have fun. Hayla looks around to see if she could find Edward in the crowd but she didn't. "Ok let's go find a boy team." "Ok."
