Horror Night

“Come on, pack your bags.” Emerged a voice from the kitchen. It was Henry’s mom, Lily, and today they planned to go to the beach. Henry took out his bag from the cupboard and started packing his stuff. Sunblock, a journal, a swimsuit and some of his favourite cookies. Meanwhile, in the kitchen, Henry’s mom was preparing some snacks. Sandwiches, cookies, pastries, spring rolls and burgers.” Come on, Henry, ” shouted his mom. “We are getting late.” “Coming, mom,” replied Henry. As he was coming downstairs, he felt a voice that did not belong to his mom or even his dad. Anyways, he let that go and thought that his ears might be ringing. Finally, they all sat in the car. While his parents were talking, he again heard that same voice, and now he thought whose voice was that? He kept thinking about that voice the whole way. At last, they arrived at the beach. It was pleasant weather over there. Suddenly, they met their cousins who also came to the beach. They enjoyed it a lot. Their cousins asked their parents if they can have a sleepover at Henry’s house. They agreed, and their cousins jumped joylessly. Meanwhile, all the parents were talking. Henry played football with his cousins and forgot all about that voice. It was lunchtime, and all of them gathered and ate lunch that Henry’s mom made. Henry’s dad brought some drinks from the juice bar on the beach. “The food was delicious,” said aunt Loretta, who was their cousin’s mom. Their two cousins, Ben and Lisa, also gave great compliments to Henry’s mom about the delicious food she made. After that, it was afternoon, and their cousin’s parents left in their own car, whereas Henry, his cousins and his parents left in their own car. When they all sat in the car, Henry again heard that same voice and thought: why can't others hear that? After a while, they arrived home, but Henry was not in the mood to play. His cousins tried to cheer him up, but there was no use for that. He told his cousins all about that voice, but he thought he was just joking. It was evening time. Henry's mom called out "Come on, everybody, we are going out". His cousins rushed in joy. Henry was going out when he heard that same voice. He turned back and saw a doll covered in blood. He remembered that there was no doll in the room before. He again turned back, but the doll disappeared. Now Henry was sure that something was going wrong, but he didn't know who was doing all that. When they all sat in the car, the image of that doll was continuously going around Henry's mind. His parents told them that they were going to a theme park. Henry was overjoyed to hear that he forgot all about that doll. It took a long time for them to arrive there. At last, they finally arrived. Henry's dad bought the tickets, and they first went on the roller coaster. Since Henry was afraid, he did not go on the rollercoaster. While he was waiting down, he again heard that same voice. He thought that from now onwards he would ignore that voice. After the rollercoaster, they went to this swing called "The Ultimate Spin".Henry was not willing to take this ride, but his cousins forced him to. After taking some more rides all of them were tired except Henry, so he decided to go on his own. As he was going, he saw a broken piece of mirror. He looked into the mirror and saw that doll standing at the back and this time with a knife. He ran in terror and came to an abandoned place. Now he became more scared since he also lost his way. He started walking and came to a forest and saw an old house and an old lady came out of there. She said, " Ohh Henry what are you doing here?" Henry was surprised to hear that she knew his name. Henry told that old lady that he lost his way and all about that doll. The lady called Henry inside the house. When Henry entered inside, he was shocked to see that same doll sitting on the couch. He told the old lady that this was the same doll he was talking about. The old lady laughed for a while and then said, " That was all my plan". Henry asked:" What plan? She answered that the doll was a horror, and she sent this doll to kill Henry but since Henry arrived at her house, it became easier for her to kill Henry. Henry tried to run out of the house but the doors were locked. He went to the topmost floor of the house but the old lady appeared there before Henry. He went to the kitchen and brought a knife, but it was plastic. Now he thought that there was no way except dying when he heard a sound coming g from outside and saw his parents and cousins coming inside the house, but they found out that the doors were locked. They tried coming from the window, but they were locked too. The old lady was coming near Henry and now Henry thought to jump out of the kitchen window which was still open. He rushed towards the kitchen and jumped out of the window. The old lady followed Henry and after a while, she stopped chasing Henry. Henry was also stopped and questioned by the old lady on who she was and why she was after Henry. The old lady answered that she wanted to take revenge on the person whose name was Henry, and he killed her, and this was her soul who lived in this house with this doll gifted to her by her late parents. As soon as they heard that they all sat in their car and left without listening to the whole story. After a while, they arrived home and he was glad that the voice and the doll were gone and he thought this day to be one of the best days in his life but it turned out into a "Horror Night".
