Great Story that Broke my Heart!
"This book made me feel gutted & so heartbroken for Brinley. She knew in her gut that "When someone shows you who they are, believe them" - but then again, love IS blind. I felt so disappointed in Kyler's betrayal, hurtful behavior, & his stupid naïveté at Remi duplicitous past actions that he should have turned & run, because she WILL break him again. But mostly this book made me FEEL, which imho is what a good writer & what a good book does. So, bravo, Author! This has a very "Splendor in the Grass" feeling to it (& I hated the ending to that too). I really want(ed) a happy ending for this couple so I'm hoping beyond hope that the sequel will make all things right. "

"I would have punched buddy by Chapter 3. This story bothers me because of how the main character was portrayed and how naive she was to let this continue. The story was too many chapters long. The storyline is like 8 months long and seven out of 8 months did not have to continue. If this was an actual occurrence, I'm glad the main character was able to fight her feelings and leave."
