BÀNE, is one of the most famous designer clothing lines in the world. The main branch of BÀNE is situated in New York. Izzy Lightwood's dream since she was a toddler was to work at BÀNE by Asmodeus Bane. As she grew up, management of BÀNE changed, and Magnus Bane became the current CEO of the Company. As much as Izzy loved old BÀNE, Izzy realised straightaway that Magnus brought something brilliant to the business. Since Izzy started her degree in fashion designing, her main focus was to get a placement at BÀNE branch in New York. In her 3rd year, she finally got the opportunity to attend an interview held by the BÀNE. She knew she left a good impression on the interview panel, but her guess got proved right when she was offered one year placement at the BÀNE.

Alec Lightwood, being the big brother he is, so proud of his baby sister. He knew she would achieve great things as a fashion designer. He has seen how her eyes twinkle with excitement whenever she was doing one of her projects. He was over the moon when Izzy got her job at BÀNE, but being the nerd he is, he didnt visit Izzy's work place once since she started working there 2 months ago only because he doesnt know much about fashion.

Unfortunately or because the fate wanted to, this morning Maryse(Alec's ans Izzy's mom) wanted Alec to pick up Izzy from the her work place. He knew protesting against his mom' command wouldnt do anything. Even though he would feel so out of place he decided to go pick up his sister from her workplace. The Lightwood family was planning to go to one of their traditional family dinner tonight with all the Lightwoods.

It took Alec one hour to get to the BÀNE store. Half an hour to drive and half an hour to find parking. Those kinda situation made Alec seriously question if he want to really be in New York his whole life. Finally after one hour in the car, Alec decided to get out of the car to go and see Izzy. As Alec was walking down the road to the store he felt his legs were resisting the journey but he realised his races heart beat was saying something very different. He didn't realise how few feet trip made his heart race go up. He is healthy man in his mid 20's. He go to the gym 6 times a week and his toned arms, legs and 6 pack could vouch for his healthiness.

"Probably should get myself checked"

Alec muttered to himself as he was not sure what made his heart race go up. Finally he stood infront of the shop. He wanted to take a deep breath before he went into the store but the greeting from the doorman broke Alecs attention.

"Good afternoon sir" Doorman smiled widley.

"Good afternoon" Alec nodded to the doorman and went into the store. He thanked the doorman quietly as doorman closed the door behind him.

The expensive cologne smell tickled Alec's nose. Not too bright lights were Alec's to liking. He kinda expected the store to be extremely bright but this not so bright lights made Alec feel little bit at ease.

He looked around the store and realised it was not as fancy looking as he imagined in his head. Ofcourse the price tags said otherwise but the store had this comfortable vibe to it.

"Can I help you sir?" Polite sale person asked. Alec looked at her. She was atleast a foot shorter than him. She had a very business like smile but very warm aura. The smell of lily from her made realise Alec that she is an omega.

"Thank you, um.. I am actually here to see my sister, Isabella Lightwood"

"Oh, give me a second, she is in the back office with Magnus and other designers. I'll call her"

"Oh.. if she is busy, it's okay. Tell her to give a me a call, my name is Alec"

'Ohhh you are the infamouse Alec Lightwood." Salesperson smiled sweetly. Alec realised from the slight difference in her omega scent that she was trying to flirt.

Alec was used to this. Lightwoods is one of the most elite families in the Alpha world. Mainly because of their only Alpha and Beta concept. Lightwoods didn't want to tarnish their bloodline with omegas but regardless of this rule, whenever someone het to know Alec, Alec was flirted with.

Alec is the oldest son of the family and he was destined to take over Multi millioner business in the future. Him being a strong Alpha didn't help with.

In this world, except males, females, non binary, there was a second sexuality.

Alphas- Strongest of all. They are good in academic and good at sports.

Betas - Middle class of the secondary sexuality pyramid.

Omegas- "fragile" men and women. Bottom section of the pyramid. Both omega men and women can get pregnant. Even though Omegas proved that they can be far more successful than Alphas and Betas, ancient Elite families still didn't want omegas in their blood line.

Coming from an elite Alpha family, Alec was never exposed to hardships omegas has to go through or he didnt get a chance to ever see a fated pair. Fated pair is an alpha and an omega who were born for each other. Alec never believed in fated pairs. To him, it was just a myth. And being fated pairs mean that they are compatible in the bed, nor they are going to fall in love with each other. That felt so empty and cruel to Alec. He wanted to fall in love with his partner and then become a pair. Not become a pair and be out of love and miserable for rest of their life.

"Um.. yeah. I'll go and wait in the car" Alec answered as last thing he wanted was someone to flirt with him now.

"No, please wait. I can keep you company till Izzy is done with her meeting. It won't take too long. Also you can wait in our VIP customer section till then"

Alec was slightly uncomfortable but he couldn't be rude to her and he gave her a little nod and a smile.

"This way please" She put her palm on his arm as she showed him to the VIP section.

"Oh someone likes to workout" She looked up.

"I enjoy working out" Alec decided to follow her but before he could take any more steps, something caught his attention. A small group of people came out from where the back office was at and, Izzy was walking next to a tall man. He was not as tall as 6'4 Alec but he was significantly tall and he was just beautiful. One of the most beautiful Alec has ever seen.

Alec realised his heart had increased and it has to do everything with a familiar sandalwood scent.

"Fuck" Alec cursed as he tried to catch his breath. Alec knew he fucked up the moment he set his feet in to this designer shop . The strong , exotic sandalwood scent filled his nostrums.This scent made his knees go weaker. His whole body was burning up and he knew his inner Alpha was slowly waking up. Which means only one thing. His long lost fated omega was in this very shop.

"Sir, are you okay? " Sales person asked as she realised Alec started releasing his pheromones all of a sudden. Omegas and Alphas are very sensitive to each other' pheromones.

"Yeah" Alec inhaled sharply trying to calm himself down.

Alecs voice made Izzy turn to their side.

"Alec?" She sounded suprised.

Alec gave a slight smile but he was too focused on calming himself. He still was not sure who is his fated pair.

"Alec, are you okay?? What is wrong? " Izzy saw something was wrong with her brother and ran to him.

All the colour in his face was drained. He was sweating as hell even though it was winter in "Alec, speak to me .. What is wrong??" Alec leaned into Izzy's body. He was losing the battle between sanity and inner Alpha. His inner Alpha was clawing to come out.

It was hard for Izzy to handle Alec's large tall body, and she was really concerned about him. He was releasing alpha pheromones all over the place, making all the omegas in the store weak. She was about to take him out when they heard the sudden thud sound.

Izzy got more scared of what she saw Magnus Bane, Izzy's boss and CEO of BÀNE was on the floor.

"Oh my god, Magnus... Shit .. Shit.. What happened to you?"

Clary, Magnus's assistant, ran to him and tried to wake him up. Alec saw that the man on the floor was panting so hard. The sudden urge of hugging the man in front of him and making him safe from the world took over Alec .

Alec just moved from Izzy so he could go to this beautiful man infront of his eyes. Izzy tried to hold his hand but Alec was too fast. He pushed a red-haired girl away from him and just hugged the panting omega so tightly. Alec could feel that the man in his hand was calming down slowly, just like Alec. 'God dammit. This is my omega, " Alec cursed to himself. His brain told him to get away from this man as far as he could. But the inner alpha in him just wanted to be with this beautiful omega and make him safe from the world.

"Oh my god. They are a fated pair. "

Clary looked at her friend Izzy. It was their first time in life seeing a fated pair. Izzy and Clary felt that Alec's alpha pheromones and Magnus' omega pheromones were not strong as earlier anymore but strong enough to attract other Alphas and omegas.They knew that they had to remove those two from the shop but they just didn't know how to do that.

Alec was still hugging Magnus so tightly, and Magnus also didn't want to be parted of the strong man. Magnus was a pretty strong man himself, but he felt secured in this Alpha's arms.

"Alec.. Shall we go inside with Magnus. It is not safe in here, Izzy tried to talk as slowly as she could because she knew Alphas got really violent when someone tried to take away their omegas. Alec just growled at her and hugged Magnus tighter. If Alec hugged Magnus any tighter, Clary was sure that Magnus was going to pass out because of lack of oxygen. Alec was literally squeezing Magnus. Magnus was finally stable.

He just looked at his Alphas' face and saw the most beautiful man in the world. Raven hair, sharp facial feathers, pink lips and hazel eyes full of fear?? WHAT? Was this alpha afraid of him? Alphas' fear in his eyes was like a slap in Magnus's face, and he finally came back to the real world.

"Umm.. You know you can let me go now, "

Magnus pushed Alpha and tried to get away from him. Alec was still studying Magnus' beautiful face when Magnus pushed him away. He was scared AF, but he just didn't want to let Omega go away. But when the omega was looking at him with disgust, he just released his hands and got up.

Well, their first meeting didn't go as smooth as mentioned in the fairy tales. Magnus was looking at Alec with disgust, and Alec was looking at Magnus with fear. The atmosphere in the shop was getting colder and colder as those two didn't talk but was just looking at them.

"Alec. This is the famous Magnus Bane. My boss and Magnus, this is my big brother Alec, " Izzy interrupted as she could not bare the silence between them anymore.

Even though Izzy introduced each other ,both Alec and Magnus didn't say anything to each other. They were embarrassed of what happened earlier. They just nodded to each other.

"I have some work I need to get done. Isabella, since your brother is here why don't you call it a day and go home?"

Magnus cleared his throat. He fixed his clothes as he talked. He couldnt bare the thought of having dust on his beloved clothes.

"That would be great, thank you so much Magnus. We have dinner plans" Izzy smiled.

"I remember. Then, I'm gonna go back to the office. It was nice meeting you Alexander"

Alec inhaled Sharpe as he heard his full name leave Magnus's lips. Everyone call Alec, by Alec as that is the name he prefer but hearing Alexander from Magnus didn't make Alec angry instead he liked how his name sounded.

Magnus gave a slight nod before he walked away. Alec's eyes followed Magnus till he disappeared from the sight. Only after Magnus disappeared from his sight, Alec realised that he didn't say anything to Magnus in return.

After Izzy and Alec left Magnus decided to call it a day after everything happened. That night, neither Magnus nor Alec could sleep. Their mind were filled with their fated partner. Magnus' beautiful green and golden eyes, pink lips were driving Alec crazy. This was the first time he ever spent a night thinking about someone.

On the other hand, Magnus was rolling all over his cold bed . He just couldn't forget the dark, tall, handsome he met today. He even drank some sleeping pills. Even though Catarina advised him not to increase the dosage of sleeping pills, he drank as twice as he was recommended to take. After bitch Camile's (Cat and Ragnor's word) incident he couldn't sleep much. But he was getting better slowly. Now here comes Alexander Lightwood to mess his sleep.
