Good read!
"This is one of the greatest modern gothic tales of our time. The author is talented with the written word and is able to capture the intensity of her scenes and makes you fall in love with the characters. 10/10 would recommend. I still can't fathom this was written when she was a teenager! "
A darkly passionate story
"This is a darkly passionate story full of young love, old love and a certain amount of blood... Emily May creates a story strongly grounded in its own setting and world which feels gothic and contemporary at the same time. May has a clear vision of her characters and conveys their thoughts and feelings and such details as the way they turn their head so that they really come to life. This makes the story unroll like a film in your mind. It is fast paced but May always allows her characters to grow and change and have their journey - but beware - it is not a smooth one! I look forward with interest to seeing more from Emily May in the future."

"When you write a book you have the first few pages to get the reader into the story. This book accomplished that. I couldn't put the book down. I needed to know what happened next. I fell in love with the characters. I cried with them, I laughed with them. I was taken away into their world. This book is well written with in depth character development."
