Slow burn but worth it
"Started slow with a bunch of back and forth explanations in between. Love how this story flowed. Not the smutty type but I adore how the author sticks to this young romance theme. I love the subtle innuendos and find myself smilling or biting a laugh (or two) from smart remarks. I wish I could still find stories like these! It'a so endearing and heartwarming. π"

"I read this book a few times already and I can't believe I never wrote a review! This is so well crafted, written, the plot flows well and naturally without missing the pace. The characters are so well written and well, perfect. I sometimes struggle to enjoy both main characters for one reason or another and even though I love Ethan to the bones, Kira is so much fun as well with all her rules, spreadsheets and lists. I like the adults and I absolutely love James. I'm so happy to know you'll write a Burlap book, and with Wendy! At the same time I'd like to read about him slightly older. Anyways, back to this book, all supporting characters are awesome, the whole story is so well crafted! I will check your other books that don't involve horror but I must confess the one I'm curious the most is the very very very very long one but I'm not that much patient so I don't know if I can handle it. Either way, loved this book and live your craft!"
