Chapter 1 - The same dream - Alpha Hawk

This is the first four chapters as the story is moving to Galatea. This contines on from The Greystone Ridge Park, and, The Wolf from within.

Everything had been whispers in the wind since Akaska disappeared. Draven’s men were still loitering somewhere around our borders. I think Akasha had convinced him he was on some sort of mission to monitor us and our movements. Alice had done an amazing job talking and trying to convince other packs to come and join us. Now she had to look after her and Sebastian’s son. He was adorable, and already I could see Max and Nox becoming firm friends. Max would naturally run as an Alpha when he is old enough, Estella or Ella as I now call her; I’m not sure what she would become.

In some ways, I was glad of the calm before the storm; at least both Sebastian and I got to spend time with our children. But now, we had to take action. Word had spread that Akasha had infiltrated some nearby humans, which was a huge worry.

“What are you going to do?” Star ran her fingers over my chest as we lay in bed together. The twins were sleeping in their cot next to us. I didn’t want either of them out of our sight.

“He will use them as fodder against us. We need to find him and kill him before he starts anything.” The stress of this is getting to me. I never signed up to take on the world. “I guess I can pay Warden Warwick a visit, maybe get some answers out of Ozworld, if he is still alive.”

“You have been working hard to protect the humans from ever finding out about us. It is difficult with what we do normally, but if Akasha has been controlling them into a war they don’t understand, how the hell are we going to break the news that they have been living with werewolves and vampires for centuries?” Star’s lips kissed my chest and up to my neck as she moved over me.

I grabbed her hips as she wiggled them over the top of me. Her beauty awakened the beast as her pussy rubbed against it. “Let me take your worries away for a short time. I’ve missed you, and the twins are sleeping.”

“You are my mate, my shining star. The one who guides me when my mind is filled with darkness.” I sink my hard cock into her and release all my stress and worries in one go.

Star bounced on top of me; her pussy clenched my cock as she came, before I lifted her up and spun myself over the top of her. The animal inside of me came out. I loved my wife and mate. I’d die for her. Razer also loved fucking his mate, Skylar, so in mid fuck we changed and I let Razer reach his peak, before we changed back and I finished off. There was something magical about being able to change and fuck as both human and wolf with your mate. Usually, most couples would opt for one or the other, but with Star, the pull on my cock as I changed was indescribable.

“Oh, my god.” Star collapsed down on the bed, her bare ass begged to be bitten. Instead, I kissed all the way up her back and nuzzled the side of her neck where her mark was. “I love you.” She muttered out the words half conscious.

I moved and scooped her up in my arm so her head rested in the crook of it, kissing her forehead. “You are my world. I love you.” As I drifted off into sleep, the same dream I’ve had for years invaded my mind.

Over six years ago, a seer came to me and guided me; said where my mate would be. I had crossed the borders and into the territory of The Scarred Rebels Pack, and as soon as I faced Alpha Jamerson, my heart sank. The curl of his lip gave off immediate cruel vibes. He was a nasty piece of work.

“I’ve come for my mate.” My words were uncertain as they came out.

“There are no single she-wolves here.” He barked back at me viciously.

The pack looked a mess as I scanned for the sweetness which hit my nose. “Mate.” Razer kept repeating. We were both certain she was here. Then my eyes landed on her. She was behind a door with only a small window, which was barred up.

“Mate.” I growled out and bared my teeth at the disgusting Alpha who stood in my way.

“She is just a worthless girl who can’t change.” He barked out at me.

I didn’t wait for him to give me permission, and stomped over to where she was, ripping the door from its hinges and locks. With only a rag barely covering her, I held out my hand for her to take.

“Mate,” I whispered out as not to scare her. She must have been about 20 years old, but the way they kept her was like a caged animal.

“Mate.” She gulped as she took my hand. Her whole body was trembling as she stepped out of the tiny hole.

I scooped her up in my arms and carried her, never wanting to step back into this pack again. “You can take her. She will only disappoint you the way she has done this pack.” Alpha Jamerson snarled out as I passed him.

“A true mate will never disappoint each other.” I smirked at him. I had come alone in my truck, leaving my Beta to run things whilst I came on this journey.

“Astrid.” She finally spoke as I drove. “My name is Astrid.”

“Hawk. I am the Alpha of The Greystone Ridge Pack, and I will protect you and love you the way a mate should do.” I smiled at her and passed her a bag. “There should be some water and a sandwich in there, possibly a blueberry muffin, too.”

Astrid devoured it all, and I wondered how long ago it was when she last ate. The ride back I had got her to talk. Before we reached my pack, I pulled up as we were on top of the mountain range and you could see everything. The stars filled the night sky, and it was beautiful. I took her hand and went to the front of the truck.

“See all that.” I pointed to my pack in the distance. “This will be your new home, one which is filled with love and equality.” I put my arm around her shoulder and she flinched at first, then snuggled into me.

“Thank you.” She blinked away tears.

We stood staring out over the area. I pointed a few places out to her and she relaxed into me. A shooting star fired through the sky and my skin prickled. I had found my mate and brought her home.

“Star. You are my shining star.” I tilted her chin up and gazed into her eyes, which reflected millions of stars back at me. Ever since that night, I have only ever called her Star. I think part of it was to wash away her past. It took a while for her to settle; not fear that we would beat her. Now, Star is the light which guided our pack and brought me back home every time I was away; she gave me everything a mate could give.

This morning I decided to pay Warden Warwick a visit, and find out what Ozworld knew about Akasha and his plans. “Sebastian, there is a changeover for holiday makers today. Make sure all the cabins are cleaned and ready for the next travelers.” I met him in my office after breakfast.

“Are you going alone?” He frowned at me.

“Yes, I think it is for the best. Warden Warwick doesn’t like others coming to his penitentiary hold.” I scratched my head and took the phone I had off charge. Star convinced me I took it with me. “Apart from a few stragglers around, all is quiet, and we know what that means.” I raise an eyebrow at him.

“Yeah, trouble is coming this way.” Sebastian clapped me on my back as we left. “I’ll make sure we keep double checks around the area.”

“Good, I’ll see you when I return.” I threw a bag in the truck and jumped in. If I could get Ozworld to talk, we might have a chance in this war coming this way.
