Prologue
First day of college is special for everyone especially the ones who have missed the opportunity for their dream college once and have fought hard to get it back and the one's who have worked day and night so that they could skip the huge amount of money for their graduation. Such were our main leads- Manik and Nandini!
"Hey! What is your name??"
"Umm...."
"Introvert right? Don't worry, meri toh speciality hi hai introverts ko extroverts mai convert karne ki!"
[It's my speciality to convert introverts to extroverts!]
"Oh!"
"Btw what is your name??"
"Manik! Manik Malhotra"
"Oh! Such a nice name! I haven't met anyone with this name before unique haan! You know..... "
and then she went on and on and on and on.....
Hey! What happened?
Manik asked when he saw Nandini sniffing sitting across the stairs which was actually his private spot but clearly somebody else has also found it!
Nandini looked at Manik's concerned face and quickly wiped off her tears not wanting to show herself weak in front of him! She was always bad at hiding her weak crying self from anyone when she badly needed to cry but her private spot was discovered by someone else and she needs to run away soon to avoid more weak moments!
"Nothing"
Saying this she ran away from there while Manik stood by the railing looking at her retreating figure remembering the words he read in his recent book-
"It's amazing how much power a smile holds. It's contagious and brightens people's day. It's also the most powerful camouflage. For that person who seems to have it all together is merely masking the pain of drowning tears. Don't be so quick to assume."
