Chapter 1
“The Haunted Doll”
The antique store was filled with all sorts of treasures, but the old doll caught Mary’s eye. It was an old Victorian doll, with long curly hair and a frilly pink dress. It looked like it had been loved and played with for generations.
She decided to buy it as a gift for her niece. But from the moment she brought it home, strange things started happening.
The doll seemed to move on its own, and Mary would wake up in the middle of the night to find it staring at her. She tried to dismiss it as her imagination, but the strange occurrences only got worse.
One night, she heard giggling coming from her niece’s room. She opened the door to find the doll sitting on the bed, surrounded by broken toys.
As she approached the doll, it suddenly lunged at her with its sharp porcelain teeth. Mary tried to fight it off, but it was too strong. The doll seemed to have a life of its own.
After that night, Mary locked the doll away in the attic, but it didn’t stop the strange occurrences. She heard footsteps and whispers coming from the attic, and sometimes even saw the doll’s shadow moving across the wall.
One night, she woke up to find the doll standing at the foot of her bed. It had a demonic look in its eyes, and Mary knew it was coming for her.
She tried to scream, but no sound would come out. The doll moved closer and closer, until Mary felt its cold, dead fingers wrapping around her neck. And then, everything went black.
The next morning, Mary’s family found her lifeless body in her bed, with the old Victorian doll sitting next to her. From that day on, no one dared to enter the attic.
