Gutted this isn't for me.

"Completed Story - DNF. Unfortunately, I just couldn't get into this. I don't know if it's perhaps not the time and I should give it ago in a little while, or if it's just not for me. I thought it would be, because it sounds right up my street. I love mythology! I'm not entirely sure of the plot, nor do I really feel connected to our MC or the world. There isn't really a reason for this - the MC has a backstory that I can empathise with, and I have an inkling at what the plot might be. But, I feel like I'm being kept in the dark about too many things. Would've enjoyed a little more exposition, I think. I will give this another go in a few weeks, perhaps my brain will be more accepting. "
