Authors POV
“Bro she is so clingy and annoying like yesterday she-”Amani complained about her girlfriend for the third time today
“Then tell her,”Kamari said to her friend, annoyed by the fact that she complained about the girl for the third time today.
“No I’m over that I’ve been texting Devon anyway”she smirked like it was a major achievement. “It’s not like me and CJ not gone last ”
“Amani what the hell that shit ain’t cool”Kamari said standing up bumping into the person behind her
“My bad CJ”she said before walking away
“Yo where you going,”CJ asked the girl thinking she was avoiding her
“The bathroom why,”Kamari asked turning around
The girl didn’t reply, only looked at her and turned to her girlfriend who seemed annoyed by her presence.
Deciding to call her best friend, Kamari pulls out her phone.
As soon as it connects she said “Mane Amani is on her bs again Ty”
“What that bit—girl do now,”The man said refraining from disrespecting the girl he strongly disliked.
“She’s complaining about that girl again but won’t break up with her like the shit doesn’t make sense”she said, hearing the bathroom door open. “And then she cheated on her with Devon. The poor girl deserves better but she still hurt by that evil ass girlfriend of hers to realize,”
She didn’t hear a response so she looked down seeing Ty smiling at her
“What,”she cheesed back at him.
“You a simp nigga’” Ty said laughing at the girl deadpan
“Now you know I don’t even get down like that, I don’t even care if she is fine or not ”she said coming out the stall shocked to see Chloe standing right there teary eyed and jaw clenched.
“Mane you know that girl ain’t yo friend so it ain’t foul— you good gang? ”Ty said, seeing the girl’s eyes widen.
“Imma call you back Ty-ty”Kamari said, hanging up before he could reply.
“Soo my girls are cheating on me and you knew and chose to not tell me that’s why you were avoi-”CJ said walking her back into the stall hearing the door open.
“Mari you in here I need to tell you what Chloe just had the nerve to ask”Amani said, making Kamari put her feet on the toilet while CJ just continued to stare holes in her head .
“Mane Mari I see yo shoes come out” Amari whined and stomped her foot.
seeing that her only friend wouldn’t come out the stall and walks to class without her.
Both the girls come off the stall, annoyed. They look at each other and go their separate ways.
The whole day Kamari spent avoiding the couple. While Chloe spent the day thinking about the girl. She knew it was wrong but she couldn’t help it. The girl was beautiful and she was nice to her since she started to date her friend even though she felt betrayed by her not telling her she had been cheating. She knew Kamari had no obligation to but it still hurt.
The end of the day was here and Kamari left with a quickness,eager to see people she considers family.
