"I like that the characters don’t go straight to description sex. I can relate to being caught off guard for an interview and the feeling of not sure you measure up. And I like the off limits boundaries placed on the relationship, the forbidden fruit. I don’t like the Title. I’m not going sit in public reading a book with this title or picture. I’m not a prude I just don’t want everyone knowing I’m reading something that gets graphic at times. I go to a lot of my kids sporting practices and events and it would be inappropriate to have this title and picture at a public event geared towards children. Also I think the writing deserves a classier title or metaphoric title or elusive title. Something that adults appreciate but kids wouldn’t relate to. Just Musing: Obeying the Rules The Self Discipline of Obeying the Rules Crossing Boundaries Like Coming Home Remembering Who Joey Used to Be After the Modeling Gig is Up I am a sucker for a good underdog story and the story line is good. The flow of events suits my preferred speed. I also wonder if famous people miss being “regular” and get tired of the superficial relationships. I like that Evie is Type A, speaks her mind and is bold and courageous. I relate to this type of woman. As for the picture, I can see a subliminal or opaque pic of Joey and his abs in a city scape. Or a nice view from behind with arms overhead holding on to a structure frame with torso and head turned to the side at a modeling gig. Just enough where the moms think “oof that’s hot” but not enough for my kids to yell “what are you reading”. That’s my two cents. I look forward to future chapters. "
