Nondescript character's

"Ok the plot is fantastic, as in total fantasy, but the story began with a whimper, which is a no no, A story, book, novel must begin with a bang so to speak, to hook and get the reader's attention. my greatest concern is the stories focus on aristocratic forms of government, which are ultimately tyrannical in nature, and downright backward, why did the main character insist on being king both in alpha century and on earth, making both worlds a republic would have made the story relevant, and palatable, Now the story itself is written in the third person and sometimes a narrative which does not keep for a page turning product, the writer needs to describe character's in more detail, e.g how tall is the king, saying Eve is shorter than the king is neither here nor there, you need to be more graphic so the reader can form a mental picture of your characters. stories must, must, must, be written in the first person, unless it's a narrative, however a story was told so bravo is in order keep writing, you can only get better"
