At the shore of the ocean
Watching the waves swaying in motion
This melancholic feeling
The breeze in my hair
And the sting of unwanted grief
Causing my eye to tear
"I'll be back" he says
But it turns to days
And weeks to months
So I sit and only pray
With my heart breaking
And my teeth chattering
White knuckles,anxiety creeping
The land's cold, the daylights dimming
But I have to wait a while longer
For he'll be back,as he said
