Maria woke up to a loud banging noise and a thud, she quickly sat up in her bed and looked around, she looked at her phone it read 1:30 am.
"who the hell could be making those noises so early in the morning," Maria gets out of bed and walks to the bathroom, she used the bathroom and quickly got back in bed.
Maria was about to go back to sleep when she heard another bang sound that startled her more than anything, it didn't happen again for five minutes, but once it did, Maria couldn't fall back asleep.
She got up and pressed her ear against the wall, it sounded like muffled screams or maybe moaning, she could this she was exhausted, she lightly knocked on the walk trying to stop them from banging on the wall.
She climbed back in bed and a few minutes later a knock on her door scared her, she laid there until they knocked again, she quietly got up and looked out the peep hole, It was only Taehyung standing there.
Maria unlocked the door and opened it, "Hey," she said tiredly, "Hey, Um room 3 said you was knocking on the wall is there something wrong?" He asked.
"Oh no, well room 3 must have been getting busy because I kept hearing thuds and banging like if the bed frame is hitting the wall." Maria explained look at him, He gave her a simple nod, "Ah, room 3 is a business man who cheats on his wife, he bring his women here and fuck them." Taehyung said shrugging, "I could offer you a different room," he said with a smile.
"It would honestly be better if a girl like you stay up front though, we have drunks that like to knock on the back doors," He explained, Maria shook her head, "this room is fine, thank you for the offer," Maria said smiling.
"You don't need to say thanks," He said with a small smile, "But, how about you and I go get breakfast together, yeah?" He asked looking hopeful. "Yeah okay sure," She nodded.
"Great!" He grinned widely then waved goodbye and left, Maria closed the door and went over to her window, she peeked outside to see Taehyung heading out into the parking lot, she sighed and went back to bed.
About three hours had passed when a different sounds began, it sound as if someone was hitting a broom against the wall while sweeping. "What the hell?" Maria asked looking at the scene confused. The sound stopped for a second before starting again.
She slowly got out of bed and walked across the room, she leaned down and pressed her ear against the wall listening intently. The sound started up again, it seemed as if there were people trying to keep quiet. She heard the sound of a broom scraping against the floor.
"What the hell is going on?" Maria whispered to herself, she slowly crept towards the door and opened it, she walked out the room and walked to she saw Taehyung sitting on the ground holding his hand, blood dripping from his palm. "Taehyung?" She called out softly
Taehyung scrambled to his feet and look at her, "Oh, Maria," he says breathing heavily and wiping his bloody hand off. "Are you okay? What happened? Did you hurt yourself?" She asked concerned. Taehyung shakes his head, "No I'm good, but, um, the guest in room 3 left early, broke some glass, I was cleaning,"
Maria looked at his hand, "Do you need help with that, I went medical school." she asked walking closer to him, he shook his head, "it's fine, I can clean it up by myself," she looked at the hand again and frowned, "Taehyung, are you drunk?," She asked curiously. "Wha--No? Why would you think that? I don't drink on the job," he said defensively.
"Well, you're bleeding," she pointed out, "and you're acting weird," she added. "I'm not acting weird," he said defensively. "Yes you are," she said crossing her arms. "I'm not," he said but this time angrily, "I'll handle it myself, please go back to your room, and rest breakfast will be on me in the morning." he said walking past her.
Maria let him leave without further complaint and headed for her own room. Once inside the room she locked the door, she walked over to her bed and collapsed onto it, she buried her face into her pillow and fell asleep right away.

When Maria woke up it wasn't even ten yet, it was almost eight o'clock. She took in a deep breath and sat up slowly and rubbed her eyes to clear them before standing up and stretching.
She walked to the bathroom and took a shower, she washed her hair and washed her face after drying it and dressed, then brushed her teeth before heading out the room. She walked to the front office and walked in, "One second," Taehyung yelled from the back room.
He came out and greeted her, "Good morning! How are you doing?" Taehyung smiled, "Very sorry about early this morning," he said walking from behind the counter, Maria stood up and smile, "Good morning, and don't worry about it. I'm starving, you ready to go eat?" Maria asked.
"Yep, let me just grab my things first," he said, Taehyung quickly grabbed his keys and wallet and headed outside. "Let's go Maria," he said with a wide grin, Maria followed him out of the building and to his truck.
"Thank you for inviting me," she said giving him a smile. "I want to apologize for waking you up like that," Taehyung replied. "No problem really, it's fine," Maria reassured him. "So where are we going?" She asked. "This diner, run by a lovely family," Taehyung said started his truck and pulling off.
"So like everyone knows everyone here." Maria looked at him, Taehyung nodded and continued to drive, "Yeah, that's pretty much it," he answered with a chuckle. "We a small town, we don't really get new people around here." Taehyung said pulling into the parking lot of the diner.
They got out the truck, Taehyung held the door open for Maria, "Thank you," she said smiling at him. They walked inside the diner, they were seated right away. "Good morning, Tae " A older lady at the counter said, "Good morning, Mama Mae," Taehyung said.
"Who's your friend, she gorgeous," Mama Mae said, Maria smiled, "Maria, I'm here from out of town, car broke down yesterday." she said looking at her.
Mama Mae looked at her, "Oh doll, I can have one of my boys go look at it if you want," she said, "They work with Joe that the repair shop." Maria smiled, "Oh my god, yes that would be amazing." she said. "Can we do later, maybe around noon?"
Mama Mae nodded, "Yes of course, what can I start you off for breakfast." Taehyung looked up at her, "Can I get my regular?" he ask, Mama Mae nodded and looked at Maria, "Can I get pancakes, bacon and eggs?" She asked.
"Sure thing doll," Mama Mae said nodding, "anything else?" She asked looking between Maria and Taehyung, "Coffee and orange juice, please." Taehyung said looking out the window. She nodded and walked away, just ask Maria was about to say something the bell of the front door rang making both Taehyung and Maria look at it.
"Shit," Taehyung mumbled, 2 guys walked over to them and sat next to them, 1 of the guys wrapped his arm around Taehyung shoulder, "Tae the Man, look at you on a date with a hottie," He said.
"Oh baby, you don't want this man," the other guy said putting his arm around Maria, "you way to pretty to be seen with someone like him," He said pushing her hair back.
"That's enough," Taehyung suddenly said pushing the guy off him."Or what," One of the guys asked standing up. Taehyung turned to look at Maria. The guy who had his arm around Maria, "you shouldn't be with him, he's the creep of the town," he said.
The guy reach down and grab his dick, "you need a real man, baby girl." he said into her ear, "Mm, yeah well good thing i'm into women," She said looking at him. The guy look up and they both look at them, "You need to be careful with him and his hotel, some say he murders his guest and fuck their corpses." One guy said.
Maria smirked, "I'm still alive, and we fucked last night, mm he was go big and we went so many rounds, and a gentleman he is for taking me out to breakfast after a longgg night." She said looking up at him, the guys look at her confused and slightly disgusted at the fact.
The guy grabbed Maria's chin and forced her gaze upon him, "Let me get a good look at your face just in case he kills you" he said looking at her, A smirk played on Maria's lips "or you're just jealous" Maria said raising an eyebrow at him.
The guy pulled his phone out and began typing rapidly while the other guy stood up straight and stared at them, "We should go, they found an abandoned car a few miles away," he said, they looked back at them one last time and walked out.
Maria fix herself and looks up a Taehyung, he was already staring at her, "What," Maria asked, "That..um..nevermind." Taehyung tried to get out, "It's fine, you can tell me," she said. "I mean there isn't anything to say," he said turning to her.
"They were just talking bad stuff about you. You don't seem like the type to let that kind of stuff get to you though," she said, Mama Mae put their food down and look at them, "you guys ok?" she asked.
"Yes," Taehyung replied quickly, Mama Mae walked away and they started eating, after a few minutes of silence, "So none of that is true right?" Maria looked at him, "The fucking the dead corpse?" Taehyung laughed and put down his fork.
"Some girl committed suicide in one of the rooms, I was so busy with other guest I never noticed until one of the guest reported a foul smell," Taehyung explained, "It was about 9 years ago." He said as he started eating again.
"Well then," Maria said softly. They finished their meal in silence; when they finished Taehyung paid and left. "Oh I should go to the gas station and get cash to pay you." Maria said before getting in the truck.
"Don't worry about it, Joe will probably charged you a arm and a leg to fix your car," Taehyung gets in the truck, Maria gets in and looks at him. "Soo what are you doing for the rest of the day?" Maria said, "Probably nothing, it's only you haves checked into the hotel, so I guess nothing." he said and pulled out the parking lot.
"There is this nice lake around here, and it's going to be hot today, you want to go?" Taehyung asked and looked at her. "Sure," Maria nodded, "Just let me change and meet me by the entrance." Taehyung nods and pulls the truck to the parking lot of the motel, they got out and walk their separate ways.
Maria walked into her room and looked through her back for a swimsuit, she grabbed a pair of denim shorts so she wasn't just walking around in a swimsuit. She quickly got undressed and put it on, she put on her shorts and walked into the bathroom to look in the mirror.
Maria was hesitant at first but she put her finger against the mirror to check and see if it was two way mirror, and to her surprise it wasn't, "oh thank god." she whispered and sighed, she pulled her hair into a bun and and walked out the bathroom, she puts on her sandals and walks out the room.
She walks outside, she saw Taehyung sitting in his truck and smiles, "You ready?" he asked she ran over to the trunk and got in, "Yes sir." she said putting on her sunglasses. Taehyung pulled off and drove off to the lake.
"So tell me about yourself," Maria said looking at him kicking her fee out the window. "Well, my name is Kim Taehyung, I'm 27, moved here from south korea to here when I was 5. The motel was owned by my parents before they died and not i run it." he said driving with one arm out the window.
"How about you?" he asked, "Name is Maria Allen, I'm 20, I was on a cross country road trip until my car broke down in this small town. I live with my dad in California." Maria said, Taehyung hummed and pulled off road and right infront of the lake.
It was a little after eleven when they got there, "I brought a blanket, towels and water," Taehyung said getting out the car. Maria got out the truck and quickly pulled off her sandals and shorts, running over to the lake and jumping in. "Oh gosh, it feels so good." she said swimming around.
Taehyung chuckled and laid the blanket down in the bed of his truck, before pulling off his shirt and walking over to her, "get in the water is nice." she said, he walked into the lake and swam around her. "So tell me, do those guys always pick on you?" Maria asked.
Taehyung stopped swimming, "I guess sometimes, no matter how often they do it or how hard i try to ignore it or whatever, they keep on picking on me." he said, Maria swam over to him, Taehyung pushed his hair out his face and looked at her.
"Do you have a boyfriend?" Taehyung asked, Maria looked at him with a smirk, "Nope," making a popping noise at the end, "Girlfriend?" he asked, "I said that to get them away from me," she said. "I'm straight and single and you?" Maria said.
"Straight and single," he said, before either one of them can say anything a car pulled up and the two guys from earlier got out, "Well, look what we have here, a party? without us." One guy said walking over to the end of the lake, "Looks like he was getting ready to fuck her," the other guy said point to the blanket.
"Shut up," Maria said swimming back to shore grabbing her towel and wrapping it around her. "Hey don't be shy," one of the guys said, "If we didn't show up, he could be kill you right now," the other guy said walking up to her snatching her towel off her.
"Hey, stop." Taehyung said walking up and pushing the guy, ""Stay the fuck away from her," Taehyung warned, "Or what, you'll hit me? Do it pussy," the guy said pushing him back, Maria was about to do something when the other guy grabbed her and threw her into the bed of Taehyung.
"I will fucking kill you," Maria yell as he pinned her down, he guy licked her neck, "mmm the salt from the lake taste so good on your skin," he said holding her wrist above her head and biting her shoulder. Maria struggled beneath him but couldn't escape, "You'll make it worth it sweetheart."
The guy on Maria looked up to see Taehyung getting beat up then back at Maria, "Your little boyfriend getting is ass beat, let's give him a show." He said pulling her up and laying her across the hood of Taehyung trunk, "Hey, Taehyung, watch me fuck your girlfriend." He yelled at him.
The sounds of sirens stop everyone from moving, "you are so luck," the guy said grabbing a hair full of Maria hair and threw her to the ground, the police office got out the car, "Cameron and Kyle what the hell is going on," the police said looking at them.
Kyle, the guy who was beating up Taehyung got off him, "He was about to rape this girl we stopped him," he said, Cameron nodded and smirked, "he like bringing girls out here and drugging them up and fucking them."
Maria laid on the ground laughing, "Gosh, you guys are pathetic," she said getting up and walking over to Taehyung, "You ok?"
The officer walked over to Maria and Taehyung, "What really happened?" he asked, "Me and Taehyung came here to swim and those bitches pulled up starting shit, that guy tried to rape me," Maria said pointing to Cameron.
After awhile everything was settled, and the guys and the officers left. Taehyung and Maria laid in the bed of his truck listening to the water streaming looking up at the sky, for a while they didn't say anything.
"He really fucked you up," Maria whispered, "Yeah," Taehyung whispered, "He didn't touch you right?" He asked, "Just held down my wrist, and licked me," Maria replied. "Oh thank god," he whispered.
"Can you drive back to the motel," Taehyung said, they looked looked at each other, "Yeah." Maria said, they say up and got into the truck, Maria started it and pulled off to the motel, "couple painkillers and all the pain will go away," Taehyung mumbles.
Maria giggles and pulled into the motel parking lot, he got out and help Taehyung to her room. She help him lay down on her bed, "I'll change the sheets so they not wet for you," Taehyung mumbles.
"it's fine,"Maria said digging in her duffel bag for her first aid kit, when she got it she walked back over to him and sat next to him. She started wiping away the dried blood from around his mouth, "Are you okay?" Taehyung asked as Maria softly cleans him up, Maria nods her head, "Yeah," she says.
"Are you sure, because if you aren't-" Maria stops Taehyung mid sentence, "yeah i am okay, just don't worry about me, now put these in your mouth" she says, handing him some pills, Taehyung nodded his head. She gave him an cool pad and helped him to sit up against the headboard.
"I should go," he looked at her, "I have a motel to run," he said getting up, Maria grabbing his hand and looked at him, they stared at each other for a moment, "I forgot what I was going to say," she said letting him go, she watched as he left the room closing the door behind her.
Maria got her out some clothes and took a shower, she washed her hairs and face and got out. She quickly got dress and walked out the bathroom. She screamed seeing Taehyung there changing the bed sheets, "I'm so sorry, I thought i would be done before you got out." he said.
"Um, it's ok, thanks." she said looking at him, he nodded and walked back out. She locked the door climbed into bed, before checking the time. It was 3 in the after noon. She decided to take a nap.
