Introduction
"Would you like to introduce yourself?" My teacher hisses, she's some sort of gargoyle or related to one, anyway so I guess that explains it.
I look around as I rise from my seat, I notice that there aren't many people in my class. My eyes fall on a girl, she looks like that one 'quiet kid'. I feel as though she is a demonic entity of sorts. She notices I am looking at her and smiles subtly, have I made my first friend already?
My eyes dart around the room in an attempt to think of something to say, "Greetings, I'm Alya." I say, almost yelling and sounding too proud of myself for saying a single sentence.
People suddenly start chuckling, I wonder if they're laughing at me but, they are looking slightly behind me... to the left. I whip my head around to see what they're laughing at.
There's nothing there.
I feel as though I'm being watched. Like there's invisible eyes on my back. "Are you not gonna tell us your powers?" A boy's voice says, it's coming from behind me. "Nice one, Devin!", A boy with fin-ears says, a boy with fluffy brown hair suddenly appears behind me. "Oh so you're a ghost... Amazing" I say sarcastically as he laughs, "I'll let you guys guess what creature I am."
