Up to Chapter Unexpected Rescue
"Wow!!!! Let me preface this with an apology. If I sound stunningly inarticulate at times in this review, I can't help it. My mind is completely fried! This story is an amazing mix of modern day and Greek mythology all mixed in a way that is unique to the author and leaves the reader wanting more after every chapter. The prologue was sheer genius and sets up the story very well, giving the reader a glimpse as to why the conflicts in the story are happening. The characters are well written and the dialogue is amazing. I read everything she has posted so far in one go! Great job Melody :) "

"From the start, this book had me on a hook. After the prologue, I was pleasantly surprised that the story is set in the modern world- I wouldn’t have minded if it remained in Greek god land, I totally duck with that- So if you’re not into mythology, fret not, our MC uses contactless to pay for drinks. Speaking of, I like how the mythological world and its structure are introduced in bite sized amounts throughout the chapters. The author’s use of descriptive writing was amazing- not overly done but enough to paint a vivid picture. The MC’s are both layered and very relatable. A really enjoyable read so far, I’ll be keeping my eyes on this one. Job well done Melody :-)"
Book Review
"To be honest, the ending of the prologue had me reeling (in a good way), which was a complete plot twist for me. Even though I have little knowledge of Roman or Greek history, I am still enjoying the story so far. The overall story and the main characters are individualistic, as are the roles they play in their lives."

"Sorry for the delay, i really liked the prologue and can't wait to find out edris's plan to rid of Zeus. I did find a difference in the level of English between the character's conversations and the overall writing of the prologue however, I feel that due to the fact that they are gods, they should have a more old dialect of English perhaps? I loved the main character, her observations, and hints of personality, and how the chapter unfolds. I would like to suggest keeping some details about her for further discovery along the story? such as the detail about her father. Hope you find this helpful :)"
