Prologue
It wasn’t long ago that a certain young woman named Jane’s life fell apart… It all had started with a trip to the zoo. Next thing she knew, she was kidnapped and held hostage for awhile. Unexpectedly, young Jane fell in love with her captor and was willing to do ANYTHING to protect him.
Through trials, struggles, and a near death situation, the two, Chase and Jane, came to be a couple. Oh, and then there is Jane’s mother, Madeline… A corrupt middle aged woman who, though looking nothing like Jane, claims to be her birth mother. Madeline nearly killed Chase in an attempt to save her daughter and her new friend, Thomas.
Thomas, the other guy who came into Jane’s life, is a rich young man who had a bright future…until he died and became a Werelion. Now, Thomas must hide that Chase turned him into a Werelion in order to keep his office job. Chase, Jane, and her mother, all depend on Thomas to bring them food and money now that they are not allowed back into public. Which brings us to the latest mess that Chase and his pride had gotten into…
