Chapter 1
Lesbi Together
A short story
Taylor Wendy was thinking about Rachel Raymond again. Rachel was a funny woman with skinny legs and electric blue eyes. Both of the woman worked together for the same company and sat next to each others desks, though Taylor could rarely focus at work, sometimes stealing glances at Rachel every so often.
However, Taylor either didn’t notice or was too ignorant to notice that Rachel would do the same.
Taylor walked over to the window and reflected on her noisy surroundings. She had always loved old-fashioned New York with its huge, healthy Houses. It was a place that encouraged her tendency to feel stressed.
Then she saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the slim figure of Rachel Raymond.
Taylor gulped. She glanced at her own reflection. She was a controlling and kind person with skinny legs and beautiful eyes that loved to drink beer in the bar and play 8 Ball Pool. Her friends saw her as an alert, ancient angel. Once, she had even brought a giant toddler back from the brink of death.
But not even a controlling person who had once brought a giant toddler back from the brink of death, was prepared for what Rachel had in store today.
Taylor grabbed a fluffy handbag that had been strewn nearby; she massaged it with her fingers.
As Taylor stepped outside and Rachel came closer, she could see the rich smile on her face.
Taylor gulped nervously and had to squeeze herself against the wall as Rachel rudely came into the apartment without asking.
If Taylor had not cleaned her room a few days prior, she would have already died from nervousness.
“You’ve got a nice living room, Taylor.” Rachel said in her firm, confident voice that Taylor had always admired.
Taylor anxiously sat down on the couch and Rachel sat down next to her. Like right next to her.
Rachel’s hand moved on Taylor’s thigh and on her waist. Taylor, meanwhile, tried so hard not to tell her deepest secret. She gazed into Rachel’s eyes.
Rachel’s lips closed onto Taylor’s, and before she knew it, Taylor was kissing her back fiercely. She had been longing for this moment for so long, despite having her own boyfriend. Their tongues danced together in each other’s mouths, not one of them wanting to stop the kiss, but after a few minutes, Taylor did, since she needed a breather.
Rachel looked back, even more confident and still fingering Taylor’s thigh. “Taylor, I love you,” she replied.
They looked at each other with ecstatic feelings both wanting to be together and not to be.
Suddenly, Rachel gulped again.
“I’ve got a boyfriend, Rach. I told you that dozens of times.” Taylor stated.
Rachel only laughed at that statement.
”Mhm. The one that you said you needed to – ah, calm your feelings down. I suppose those feelings were for me?”
Taylor knew she’d regret this moment, but she had to say it.”
“I’m sorry, Rach, but I can’t. I can’t be with you.” Taylor murmured, avoiding Rachel’s eyes.
She could still tell how bad her friend’s heart shattered, since Rachel’s hand slid off Taylor’s waist and went limp. Rachel sat up unsteadily and walked back to the door.
“I’ll see you tomorrow at work, Rachel. Maybe we could go to the bar again, as friends.” Taylor attempted to comfort her friend.
But, when Rachel gave a stiff nod and shut the door, Taylor knew that Rachel would never talk or see Taylor again.
