"Most writers have terrific ideas, adequate storylines (plot) and good structures to produce an interesting book, but so many fail at grammar, punctuation, spelling and even missing words. To me, an excellent book should also be spotlessly written.....like this one! Top notch writing. I liked everything about this book. The only thing (and it is not a negative at all) that I would've liked, was a little bit more of the male character's POV. I'm also still wondering why Vernon actually broke up with Mae in the first place? The only reasons given was a little vague as it was in the form of Mae's perceptions. Regardless, this remains an outstanding book. "
