Summary

When Penelope is forced to move with her aunt, she's forced to find out a lot of things about herself while battling the new found lesson of commitment, seeing as though she's never lived anywhere for more than a year. When she meets a group of friends, that all changes. Pushing their own limits and testing the bonds of family and friends, a series of students at Ashland High find their own ways to deal with a far-reaching range of issues, from homophobia, abuse, and violence to burgeoning sexuality, dating, and heartbreak. With equal measures of humour, angst and heart, the students of Ashland grapple with a series of "firsts" as they begin their journey into adulthood.
