Crystal Mayhem (part I)
"I loved the author's descriptions, which make you feel all the action of the book as if you were really there. And as well as all the action and adventure in the story, the pure, innocent romance between the characters is delightful. I loved seeing Marco and Isaias come to terms with their feelings for each other, and I hope Zen makes the right choice. Highly recommended book! "

Realistic, Complex Sci-Fi
"The characters, plotting, and world-building are excellent in this look into a future version of Earth following natural cataclysms. Having lived in rural areas my entire life, I've always struggled with a bit of reader's "culture shock" with stories set in more urban settings, but the story made it more than worth the struggle there at the start. I love seeing tropes being used in fresh and interesting ways. Thus far, the crystalline intelligence behind a great and mythical technological or magical power shown in Crystal Mayhem Part 1 has me intrigued. I look forward to starting Part 2. My only real complaint with the book is the grammatical errors, punctuation problems, and what looks like extra words missed in editing here and there throughout. Aside from that, there were a few places where the point-of-view was a bit confusing, but the book is written in third-person omniscient. And it may very well be the result of my own attention issues more than the writing."
