Set in a modern high school, Gray Personae is a story about the struggles of a deaf student: Alexander Clark. A troubled childhood riddled with abuse, neglect, and eventual escape from his mother's side, Alex's life begins to spiral down a darker path has he reaches out to classmates and forges fake friendships. The story revolves around his relationship with his troubled family, and how Alex slowly begins to form genuine friendships.
