"OMG I love this book and all the characters. It reminds me of my husband who's a Marine. This book has helped me understand him so much more. He has some issues just like Ethan too. It's so sad for veterans of what some of the things they go through being military and the things that they are ordered to do. Excellent writing and I wish I could give you 10 stars."

"Damn! I was impressed! Even in the beginning when they had barely even touched the way the author describes the scenes it was like I could feel the sexual chemistry that was building and THERE WAS NOTHING EVEN REMOTELY SEXUAL HAPPENING! I found that extremely impressive. This author definitely understands PTSD and does an excellent job painting the picture of what it is like. I was also extremely impressed with the quality and depth of the character of the dog, Jesse. It truly felt like she was her own fully formed character and not a side addition. The level of character development throughout the entire story was impressive in and of itself. I was extremely appreciative of the minimal grammatical errors and typos. I think I only caught maybe one or two small errors in the whole book and this was a solid book! I also hated and loved the ending. It captivated me and drove me straight to the second book immediately. I am extremely impressed with this author. "
