Punishment

Giuseppe was on a mission; he was tired of being what his men thought was soft-hearted and kind to them. If they wanted a ruthless leader, it was what they were about to get, but they wouldn’t live to see it. The bad thing was Giu knew he worked with a bunch of sketchy men, but he never thought they would turn against him the way they did. Although his men in New York didn’t surprise him because he knew deep down they were all working for Berardo.

He only thought if he watched his back, he could get by. All of this was crazy, and it was hard for him to believe that the men who had worked for his father for as long as he could remember would turn on them with the snap of Berardo’s fingers. There had to be more behind it. Someone else within their family was helping him. Giuseppe knew for sure it wasn’t his uncle. Davide wasn’t a man that would challenge his brother, he was ruthless but not crazy, but his son seemed to be.

Berardo had everything. He was set to become Giuseppe’s underboss and rule New York as his prize. Giu was only there to help along the way. Of course, he wasn’t about to live in Manhattan; Giuseppe loved his home too much to leave it behind. He had his children here, his beautiful mother, then there was his father, and the idiots that so happened to be his siblings, although his little sister had followed him to New York. Still, everything he needed was in one spot, and he would go to the ends of the world to protect the ones he loved. The family was number one to him, so he always believed in the saying, ‘Blood is thicker than water.’

In this case, blood meant shit to him.

His cousin was going to die, or he would die protecting his family. Berardo knew the code, and he was breaking all the fucking rules. The biggest one of all was going against your mafioso. He had strayed away from his purpose and dishonored his Don. Because of that, he would die, and Giuseppe couldn’t wait to get his hands on him.

“Capo, something happened at the warehouse. I heard it was an explosion… are our men okay?”

“Um, answer me a question, soldier. Which side are you on… answer carefully between. It will decide your faith.” Giu spoke as the man looked at him, concerned. His question confused him, but it didn’t save him from his wrath. He needs verbal confirmation.

“Yours, sir; who else side would I be on?”

“Good, but let me find out you lied to me, and your brains will be on the outside of your head. How many of the others are working against me?”

“Is that a trick question, sir? I know the code; snitching leaves us dead….”

“Snitching today will save your life. So, choose wisely... what will it be?” Giuseppe asked as he helped his gun to the man’s head. He noticed the young man started to sweat as he rubbed his arms, thinking what to do next. Slowly, Giu took the safety off the gun with a click while the man in front of him opened his mouth and closed it for a moment.

“Steven and Matteo’s whole crew. I heard them talking before your return about how they wanted to kill Don and help Capo Berardo take over the mafia. Last night they talked about killing your bride-to-be, how she was a pig, and we couldn’t trust her or you. Sir, that’s all I know.”

“I have to give it to you,” Giuseppe spoke, tapping the man’s head with his gun. It looked like he nearly shitted himself, causing Giu to cock a brow. “I thought you would choose death to protect our code. You are right; stitches usually die in our family, but I’m trusting you to do the right thing. Can I trust you, Tommaso?”

“Yes, sir, you can. My loyalty lies with you, sir. Only you and your soon-to-be wife.”

“Good, now, I have a mission for you… kill them all. All of them, you see— kill them.” The young man’s eyes widened, realizing Giuseppe had killed the ones back at the warehouse. Yes, some may have been innocent there, but he could trust anyone at the time and still couldn’t. Tommaso only spoke of the ones he knew, but Giu knew there were more. In time, he would know the truth, but until then, he sent Tommaso on his mission as he silently crept around his home, killing all he suspected.

“Cap….” Giuseppe didn’t give the surprise men time to react as he shot him. His body hit the floor with a thumb, causing more men to run in to see what was happening. They were all shocked to see their Capo, the man they had called weak, standing over one of his men’s bodies, but it didn’t stop one of them from coming at him. Quickly, Giuseppe grabbed his hand, which contained his gun, and twisted it behind his, causing the man to shoot someone to his side as he shot another, coming at him head-on. After Giu took his gun, shooting the man in his grip in the head while turning, shooting another running on his side.

They had to be crazy to test him or dumb to think they could take him down. His father taught him better than that. Giuseppe knew how to take down twenty or more men at once alone, and fifteen men were shit to him. They all fell just as quickly as they ran up. “Stronzo mi ha tagliato il cazzo di collo. (Asshole cut my fucking neck.).” He said, hearing footsteps coming from his side, causing him to quickly point his gun in the direction only to see River looking concerned.

“Next time you hear gunshots, don’t run in the direction you hear them from, Riv. What the hell is wrong with you?”

“I can’t find Regenia!” He yelled, while Giuseppe’s head tilted to the side. It was sweet that he was worried about his bride-to-be, but Genia was safe. That much Giu knew, although now he had to teach the woman a lesson. She tried to run as if he was crazy enough not to put a tracker on her.

Regenia looked and screamed runaway, which was why he took the liberty of drugging her the night before they left for Italy and then placed a tracker in the sweet little bird’s neck. All he needed was a needle with the device which his sister supplied him with. She was his, and there was no running from that. If Regenia didn’t understand that, she would very soon.

“My Uccellino is fine….” He started as he swiftly turned around, shooting two men trying to sneak up on him as Tommaso made sure to take care of the rest. “As I was saying, My Uccellino is fine, and I’m about to go to her now. Maso, be sure to take care of any other men who think they can defy me or side with my cugino. I have no time for disloyal men or traitors.” He spoke, walking away with River right behind him.

He was going to Regenia, but that didn’t stop him from killing a few men allowed the way. He had to protect himself and River, who had proven himself to be quite useless. Giuseppe knew he would have to teach the man some level of self-defense because there was no way in hell he would protect a man as if he were a woman. Yes, he could fight, but he was useless when it came to shooting a gun. However, before Giu knew it, they were in the garage and at the secret door unlocking it, finding Regenia on the other side, ready to shoot.

“I can see you were the reason I couldn’t find the two snakes behind this.” He spoke, making Regenia look past him to the men lying on the garage floor. She shyly smiled, letting herself fall against the wall behind her.

“I-I never killed any before. All of this is so new to me, but I knew if I didn’t, they would have killed me.” She said quickly, raising her gun again and shooting it twice. It scared the hell out of River as the man felt his chest, while Giuseppe turned in time enough to see more men’s bodies drop. He thought he would never see the day when a cop actually killed to protect him.

“Sir, somehow there are more men….”

“Then it’s time for us to leave. Someone called in more men... but it shouldn’t be a problem.” Giuseppe spoke, nodding towards one of his SUVs. He quickly took Regenia by the hand as they hurried to the car. “Tommaso, the failsafe if you will.”

“You want to blow it up? Your home!”

“Sì damnation! Perché devi interrogarmi? (Yes, damnit! Why do you have to question me?) It’s not like I don’t have other homes just as big. You know what to do. Do it now!” He yelled as Tommaso quickly pulled out his phone to type, and about halfway down the long road, Giuseppe watched his home and everything around it turn into a cloud of smoke through the rearview.

It seemed as if they had been driving for hours before stopping at their new destination as they reached another home deep in the country. Again, there was nothing but grape vineyards with fairy lights hanging above them, which were beautiful in the moonlight, but the home Regenia was now staring at was even more beautiful. A mansion overlooking the ocean, although the whole scene was a bit frightening.

“This is beautiful, but aren’t you scared….”

“Uccellino, I live my life in fear. Do you think the ocean is going to have me running scared?” He asked, making her stare at him as he removed himself from the car. River and Tommaso followed as she slowly opened the door, slipping out alone. In a flash, Giu was at her side, wrapping his arm firmly around her waist while leading her into the house straight to a bedroom.

“Giu….”

“You tried to run, Uccellino. Did you think that would go unpunished?”

Unpunished? Why on earth would he want to punish her, and how? Regenia didn’t think it was necessary since she had killed for him. Something she had never done before during her eight years of being a cop, but Genia did it to protect him. A man who tricked her into helping him…. Saying yes, promising to marry him for protection, which was a lie.

“I killed some… four people for you! Wasn’t that good enough?”

“Take off your pants….”

“WHAT?! HELL NO, I DON’T KNOW WHO YOU THINK I AM, BUT YOU, SIR, HAVE ME FUCKED UP!” She yelled as he walked closer, causing Regenia to walk backward until her back hit the wall. “G-Giuseppe t-think about this. P-please….”

Giu hummed as he placed his finger on her lips and gently kissed down her neck before taking both hands and running them along her sides to her pant, unbuttoning them. Regenia opened her mouth to protest, but nothing came out as Giuseppe swiftly pulled her pants to the floor and walked to the nearest chair sitting. He motioned for her to follow as her eyes looked at the door, while her feet stepped out of her pants and moved toward Giu. Regenia felt like she was under a spell; she couldn’t break.

“Over my lap.”

“Wait, are you trying to spank me like a child?” She asked, and in return, he gripped her wrist, pulling her over. Soon as she landed across his lap, the first hit came, which strung like a bitch, causing Regenia to hiss while Giu chuckled, rubbing her ass. The second one was even harder, making her cry out, and the third. The third one, something else happened. Regenia felt her core dripping, causing a moan she quickly tried to cover.

She also received a reaction from Giuseppe as his member hardened along the side of his thigh. It was big, thick, and long and he wasn’t shy about letting her feel it while his hand went between her legs. “Mhm, I like the sound you made for me. Tell me, Regenia— Is my Uccellino wet for me?”

“Giu!” She yelled as his thumb grazed her clit. Regenia quickly pulled away, but he caught her and quickly pulled her into a kiss. It was unexpected, but there was no way she could escape it. So, Regenia welcomed him and allowed his hands to roam her body before he pulled away.

“Don’t ever run from me again. Do you understand?”

“Y-yes.”

“You are mine, Uccellino. You may not understand it now, but you soon will.”
