Chapter 1
Part one
It starts to rain as Sergei and Meeko walk through the streets trying not to be seen battered and bruised and blood oozing out of even the smallest cuts they have one more block to go but there bodies are getting heavy and weighing like concrete but they know they have to make it “ Come on Sergei just one more block and we will be home free” Meeko says with tears in his eyes and they run towards the house. They stumble in front of the door but Sergei is able to bang on the door and as a man opens the door they both pass out in front of him as the sky thunders around them.
Meeko slowly flutters his eyes open to realize that he is lying on a bed bandaged up; he looks around quickly to find Sergei sleeping next to him bandaged up as well. A quiet hum is heard through the house and Meeko slowly creeps out and feels a shock of pain shoot through his body but he pushes through it and creeps down the stairs to see the same man at the door cooking breakfast and notices Meeko creeping up behind “Morning you should be laying down your injured I’ll bring you and Sergei’s breakfasts up too you” the man says as he turns off the stove. Meeko chuckles “Oh come on Dave, you don’t need to baby little old me” Dave frowns as he puts food on plate and quickly whips around and yells “What the hell do you think you guys were doing you guys were supposed to be at the academy by now and you know not covered in bruises and cut and bleeding so I’m sorry if I can’t trust you two with basic things, what were guys even doing out there your lucky no one saw you and called 911 before you got to me!” The room goes silent until Dave shoves two plates towards Meeko “If you want to make yourself useful bring some food up to Sergei she is most likely awake and hungry and put something in your system.” Meeko grunts and lets out a sigh as he walks upstairs knowing there’s no use in fighting and opens the door to see Sergei is awake and looking out the window “Hey so I guess David is mad at us” Sergei says as she sniffed at the air and locks eyes with the plate of food in the hands of Meeko “Give me I am starving” Meeko gives a slight smile as he slides one of the plates over “We sure are now eat up.” As Sergei digs into her food through muffled sounds she says “If Dave doesn’t kill us do think we could go to the ocean once we leave” Meeko’s smile grows bigger as he says “Sure we can and slow down on the eating you might choke on your food.” As Meeko stops speaking Dave slowly walks in “Hey Meeko sorry for screaming at you earlier but look at
you two I just got so worried what happened” a look of worry and concern washes over his face and tears flow down as he gives them both of them a hug just then Sergei speaks up “Meeko may or may not have set off an explosion of in the middle of the lab trying to do an experiment and when the guards tried to find him he took me ran” Dave slowly breaths in slowly and goes “Why the hell would you just run out the school when you come back your punishment will be do much worse now” and bursts out laughing “I am sorry for laughing but that seems like something you would do Meeko.” He says as he wipes away a tear “We should get back to the academy though they can help you with your injuries and I think they may want to find their culprit.” Meeko mumbles under his breath “Ok” and they all stand up and with a swipe of Dave’s hand a portal opens up and they all walk inside and all of them holding hands.
