"As Billie comes home from her exchange programme, she's nervous about seeing her best friend again after they lost touch. Has Wyatt mated in the years she was gone? Wyatt envies the couples at social gatherings. He hopes Billie could be his mate but she's been away for so long. In the meantime, he's been working on his career and hitting the gym to become the strong mate she deserves. Very Heathcliff! Will Billie's story turn out better than Cathy's? You know it! These are two great characters - Wyatt was a nerd; he was bullied and didn't have the best clothes. But Billie was his friend anyway, our girl isn't shallow. He loved her storytelling and had crushed on her for years. He's got it bad, it's so cute! Wyatt still has the sweetness of his pure love for Billie but now he's also grown in both confidence and caveman bedroom tendencies! The story has humour which generally involves their siblings or their wolves. It has some shifter action when both our hero and heroine show what they're made of. And it has lots of Christmasy feel good vibes - decorations, snow and Christmas tunes. The author conveys close family bonds with only a few words - such a skill! I love the warm writing style. The hugs in this book are great. The plot is simple yet effective. I'm giving this 5 stars overall as it's one great big Christmas snuggle. "
