Samara

"Is anyone there?" I frowned anxiously at the door, tears rolling down my face. A moment passes but no answer echoes through the thick blue walls.

"Sam." A woman walks in holding a clipboard.

I squeeze the glass bottle in my hands as it shatters, glass sticks to my palm as I tremble, feeling droplets of blood run freely on my hand I let out a mutter.

"It's Samara to you!" I snap as my 15 year old self crumbles to the floor.

"Oh Honey, I'm sorry I truly am but, it's not safe for you to be out there." The lady lets out a sigh as she picks me up off the ground.

My mind feels with confused thoughts even though all I can ask is, "Why?"

"I can't explain that to you yet..." She pauses. "It's confidential, but I promise everything will be alright".

Anger takes over my mind as a red silhouette evolves around my fragile body. "Confidential!, How is keeping a 15 year old girl locked up from the real world CONFIDENTIAL!"

A man rushes into the room. Calming me down he says, "It's time to meet you new friends, and maybe get you a roommate."

Shoving clothes into my hands he rushes me to change as both him and the lady walk out the room mumbling as they go.

"Once you're done we will have a young man escort you to the lunch room" The lady says cautiously as she shuts the door behind her.

10 minutes later I walk out the room in a red velvet skirted dress with a beautiful floral shirt tucked into it.

They really take this whole lunch thing seriously don't they. I think to myself.

"Ms. laurence" A new male voice calls out catching my attention. Walking up to me a tall young man maybe in his early 20's grabs my wrist as he escorts me down the empty halls.

Moments later we turn down a hallway and the silence is soon filled by a multitude of voices scattering from every angle of the lunch room.

I walk in, holding my breath I pray no one sees me and thankfully no one did, except a guy about 17 who walks up to me with a smug look on his face.

Everyone soon catches on and goes quiet, waiting for something to happen.

He stands in front of me holding his hand out, but I pay no attention to him and walk away. The crowed of teens gasp at my spiteful actions.

The boy with ocean blue eyes catches up to me as he runs his hand through his hair saying, "I knew we were getting someone new but, I never knew she was this pretty." He flirted, but I only scolded him as I grabbed a plate of food and sat down at a table.

"My names inferno, you must be Samara" The boy goes on.

"Could you leave me alone, please." I roll my eyes letting out a grunt.

He ignores my request.

"Since you're knew here no one is going to leave you alone you know.... and in my beliefs it's because you're so pretty." He smiles nudging my shoulder.

I let out a soft smile as I chuckle and he looks me in the eyes with shock.

His eyes grow bright as he feels with excitement. "Your eyes change colors!"

"......Yes, ..... are you making fun of me!" I feel my body shrink beneath my weight.

"Oh ofcource not!" He scolds in disbelief. "It's just your kind... we thought they were all extinct, after the bomb attack no one could find any of the Elaeints.

"ELAEINTS!" My mind screams and seconds later the room grows dark.
