Perfect Balance of Fantasy & Sweet Romance
"Besides the occasional spelling and grammatical errors (that further editing would surely resolve) it’s a solid story. Likable characters with believable bonds makes the reader actually care for the two main characters of their own volition. Nothing is particularly mind blowing in terms of originality, but it doesn’t need to be as long as it pulls it off the right way. The characters are playful towards each other in a refreshing way that doesn’t feel forced (like with many other stories…). The only thing is that the overarching plot is yet to be fleshed out, which would otherwise make the story more compelling. Just sprinkle in some crumbs of what’s to come and I feel that would connect the story to the second one smoother. The plot and characters are not filled to the brim with details yet (which isn’t necessarily a bad thing,) but fleshing out the characters backstories in terms of how their personalities have developed and what shaped them to what they are now, would help the reader connect with the characters on a deeper level. Overall, would read for fans of this genres as it’s pulled off nicely. I’m definitely looking forward to reading the second book."
