Epilogue
“Ugh” I mumbled underneath my breath. It was my first day of sixth grade and my shoes looked like a walking clown show. Mom thought that it would have been the best ever surprise getting the neon, bright pink Converse to wear on my first day. Middle school hopefully won’t be that much different than my elementary school. “Hey!” Kai bumped me. Kai was my best friend that I have made all the way back in elementary school and to see her walk through the door shocked me. “Kai!” I said giving her a big hug, “I thought you were going to West?!” I Jumped. “Yeah, apparently I’m not smart enough to get into the elective that I was going there for, so yeah I just wanted to surprise you by coming here!” She said, I was so happy at that point, I knew that I would never make it through middle school without my best friend.
