The Many Faces of Storytelling:

A Poem By Ender Wolf

There is more than meets the eye

When it comes to storytelling

There are many places for stories to live

And there places for them to die,

Places that not everyone realizes

Until they see the world in different stages.

Stories are told to us by word of mouth,

They can be poems and songs,

And they can even be among the walls.

Our lives are books that are always read.

Always watched and listened to till the end.

Stories tell both tales of old and tales of new.

Stories in shows, books and myths of old.

Stories about ghosts, stories that are shown.

Stories are made from within our heads,

Where we imagine monsters under our bed.

We live through life in chapters new and old.

Young and bold. The games we play, the videos we watch

All have some story they are telling us.

Tales of ventures through the nether,

Tales of lives torn apart and put together.

We live our lives on a screen funny isn’t it? The world we see.

We seem to be told what to do but do we follow the path or does it choose you?

I love to read, to write and to draw the ways I perceive the things they say.

I love to fantasize about our lives and how their told. There are stories that are as old as fine wine. We live to tell our stories as well as stories of adventures, So do tell me.

What is boring about stories and their forms of telling? We all have stories that we are sharing. Even if you aren’t creative, you still have stories of your own. Your life is one of those.

So If we are books then we are also storytellers as books are forms of those stories.

Stories of Glory and tales of mourning.

Tales of decpeption and perception, tales of love and tales of hatred. Tales of action and talk of grief.

Talk of the unknown and vengece, we live our lives without ever thinking about how we can change the hands of fate simply because whats not yet written down in time can be changed via wisdom and of time.

So won’t you keep the story going and never stop unless your ready? Cuz we go down, why not go down with a blaze of glory and of pride for you have told your life.
