Chapter 1
It was very early and my father was asleep. I tried to stay quiet so he wouldn't hear me. If he did, the worst would happen. I went downstairs took my medicine then left. As I was walking towards the city stop I saw that a tall blonde guy was the only one there.
As I got closer he noticed me and smiled. "Hey shorty" he said with a grin "What are you doing here so early" I looked at his shirt and it looked like he goes to the same school as me. "Kid you there" he said. "Yeah Yeah just.. thinking."
"What's your name" he exclaimed "Xzoeon" I said knowing he would make fun of it. "That's a weird name for a short boy like you." "Mines Krain" he said with no enthusiasm at all. "That's a cute name" I said TRYING to be nice. "Not as cute as you".
After Krain said that I was frozen in place like ice. After a while Krain nudged at me."Hey kid, you good?" He asked finally after all the silence.
"Why did you say that" I asked "Say what?" before I could answer he threw me over his shoulders and ran. He ran all the way through the neighborhood. Finally we stopped a big house.
