Macus x y/n, deadly class pt1
Y/l/n had always been a rebel. She had grown up on the streets of New York City, surviving by her wits and her determination. When y/n was old enough, she joined the deadly class at King's Dominion, a school for assassins. She was a natural at killing and quickly rose through the ranks. She was fierce, ruthless, and unafraid of anything. Y/n wanted to take her revenge on the powerful people who had wronged her in the past.
It was there that she met Marcus, a fellow student with a troubled past. At first, y/n saw him as nothing more than a potential pawn in her plans, but as she got to know him, she realized there was more to him than met the eye.
Marcus was intelligent, witty, and had a sharp tongue. He had a knack for getting under y/n's skin in a way that no one else ever had. Despite his rough exterior, y/n found herself drawn to him.
As the two of them began to work together on various class assignments, they quickly developed a reputation as one of the most lethal duos in the school. They were unstoppable, their skills complementing each other perfectly.
But it wasn't just their professional relationship that was growing stronger. Y/n found herself thinking about Marcus more and more often, and he seemed to be doing the same. They would steal glances at each other during training sessions and linger a little too long over post-assignment drinks.
It wasn't long before y/n knew that she had feelings for Marcus. She tried to push them aside, knowing that any sort of emotional attachment could put them both in danger, but it was no use. Her heart had already been captured.
One day, after completing a particularly difficult mission together, y/n and Marcus found themselves alone in a deserted hallway. Without thinking, y/n leaned in and kissed him. It was electric, a spark she had never felt before. Marcus responded eagerly, and they kissed again.
From that moment on, y/n and Marcus were inseparable. They continued to work together and hone their skills, but now it was with a newfound closeness. They would spend their free time exploring the city together, growing closer with each passing day.
But their happiness was not meant to last. As their graduation approached, y/n and Marcus realized that they would have to part ways. They had each been assigned missions that would take them to opposite sides of the globe, and they knew that they might never see each other again.
On the night before they were set to leave, y/n and Marcus made love for the first and only time. They clung to each other, unwilling to let go, but knowing that they had no choice.
The next morning, they said their goodbyes in silence. Neither of them could find the words to express the depth of their feelings. Y/n watched as Marcus disappeared into the crowd, feeling as though a part of her was being ripped away.
Years later, y/n would hear rumors of Marcus's death. She would try to brush it off, to convince herself that it wasn't true. But deep down, she knew that he was gone, and she would always remember him as the one person who had truly understood her.
For y/n l/n, Marcus would always be the one who got away...
