Excellent First Chapter
"Firstly, I would just like to say how well written this story is already. I was immediately drawn in from the beginning because I have friends in the marines and the navy, so it hit home a bit. You really made the reader feel like they're at war with the characters, which is not an easy thing to do. Searching for mines and the dangers of handling them the wrong way was masterfully executed in such a short series of paragraphs. The character descriptions are simple, yet very effective. I can picture each person with ease and got a feel for each one based on what you said. This is the first military story that I feel genuinely excited to read, especially because the characters are so young. I would definitely recommend this story and I look forward to seeing where it goes past this first chapter. "
Cool characters and beautiful writing
"The book has engaged me all the time..love that the author describes every detail of a bettalfeild. The writing and description of events are nicely detailed. The characters are well-defined and the world-building is fascinating enough to make your imagination quite vivid... I'm gonna stick to this till the end..for sure"
