Prologue

A woman of average height - maybe 5'4 or 5’5 - walks into the party in a backless red dress, floor-length with a leg slit, that complimented her flawless skin beautifully. Her dark hair cascaded down her open back and ended in a faint blowout, she was the kind of women in which her mere presence screamed ‘confident’, Captivating to all - all except one.

A lone man in a tux sat in a corner table, watching as the woman looked around and slipped behind a door leading to the kitchen. He watched as she came back out carrying a tray and dressed as a server instead of the high-maintenance act she put on. He watched as she almost unnoticeably slipped something into a well-known military generals drink. He watched as she expertly ditched the tray and headed out a back making her escape.

And then he waited.

He waited for the General to start foaming at the mouth.

He waited for people to realize what had just occurred.

But something else caught his attention at the corner of his eye.

A woman, leaning against the side wall, in a backless red dress-floor length with a leg slit - dark hair that cascaded down her open back ending in a faint blowout and flawless skin that her dress so gorgeously complimented.

And then he realized.

With a smirk playing on her lips, she turned her back on the man, slipped behind a door leading to the kitchen and emerged again, wearing a server's uniform and carrying a tray. She looked directly at the lone man, winked at him, and headed straight for the General.
