Chapter 1
A long time ago magic was known as a myth, or told as stories, before those stories came to the human world, there was a powerful sorcerer called Arden, he was a gifted magical sorcerer who was a magic-user, it was he who had decided to place a barrier around the kingdom Ardenia, a Kingdom that he created for people like him, teens with magic, so that no non magical person could find it and destroy everything that it stands for, for its safety and the way of their living.
Ardenia is a magical kingdom filled with all kinds of magic and possibilities ruled by Kings and Queens alike.
It was Arden who discovered he carried all kinds of magic dark and light, he came to a decision that if everyone in the kingdom had magical powers than they should be tested and trialled to see if they were worthy of receiving their magical power, or could even have the power in them to be more than what they originally were and be something more.
That is what Arden wanted Ardenia to stand for a Kingdom that inhabited magical beings and was hidden and unseen from the ordinary world and humans or 'non magic users'.
Arden created the magical tests that would be given to all children born in Ardenia, in order to determine their magical abilities. The tests were rigorous and challenging, designed to push the limits of each child's magical potential.
Over time, Ardenia became known throughout the land as a haven for magic-users of all kinds. The kingdom's magical resources were plentiful, and its people were skilled in a wide range of magical arts.
But it wasn't just those with magical powers that existed in Ardenia there were some children that although were destined to carry magic within them had grown to dislike the those with what's known as light magic and so they were gifted towards the darker side of magic which in some cases was frowned upon.
In Ardenia there was a balance between dark magic and light magic he had created a seperate world for the dark magic users one that was founded by a Dark magic sorcerer known as Xander.
If it came to that case you were either exiled or sent to The Dark Magic School Of Sorcery, to put it simply, they had no choice but to be accepted in the school. It was one or the other. And then there were the ordinary ones the ones who had know magic they were sent to the mines or factories to continue building for the magical people.
However, with great power came great responsibility, and Ardenia was not immune to the dangers of the magical world. The kingdom faced many threats over the years, from dark wizards seeking to overthrow the monarchy to magical creatures running among in the forests.
Despite these challenges, Ardenia always managed to persevere, thanks to the bravery and skill of its people. Today, Ardenia remains a beacon of magic and wonder in a world filled with danger and uncertainty .
The magical tests and trials in Ardenia are designed to determine a child's magical abilities and potential. The tests are given to all children in the kingdom when they reach the age of 13.
The tests are rigorous and challenging, and they are administered by skilled magic-users who are trained to recognize the different types of magical abilities. The tests include tasks such as levitation, conjuring, elemental manipulation, divination, Dream manipulation, controlling time and healers.
Each child's results are carefully recorded and analysed, and they are given a magical aptitude score based on their performance. Children who show exceptional ability in a certain area are given additional training in that area, to help them develop their skills further.
Once the tests are completed, the children are assigned to magical academies or guilds based on their results. These academies and guilds offer specialized training in a variety of magical arts, such as potion-making, spell-casting, and combat magic.
Overall, the tests and trials in Ardenia are a crucial part of the kingdom's magical education system, helping to ensure that its people are skilled and proficient in all forms of magic.
However, when King Marlon and Queen Lysandra were destined for eachother and promised to keep their kingdom protected from 'humans' who would do anything to seem power, they never thought that they would harbour a child, a 'princess' who had no magic within her. Well that we know of so far.
The so called tests were taken at a young age so that the magic users could determine what type of magic the sourceror or sorceress weilded so that they could learn to embrase,harness and learn from their magical powers even at the young age of 13.
It was February 15th when a young Kaida's test would reveal her destiney and seal her fate.
