Intriguing
"'it's always at our most confident , that we are at our most wrong." So wise; so true. I experienced this as a late coming of age /vision quest story and pilgrimage. Boy grows into man, alone without boyhood companions. Learns much about himself and then later, about female presence/wisdom in life. I see lots of symbolism going on here with the the glow sticks and so much going on with the female "god"/church lady. Much is wrapped up in the comfort of a feminist presence and post journey guide. Motherly. Captivating story, kept me engaged and intrigued throughout. I would make minor edits to sentence structure. but overall tight writing and excellent narrative skills."
