What is Omegaverse??
The Omegaverse is a name given to specific type of world in fiction where humans are classified into alphas, betas, and omegas.
What are Alphas/Betas/Omegas?
Both males and females can be alphas, betas, or omegas. Starts manifesting during adolescents, up to 18 years old.
Alphas
- Topmost level of hierarchy in omegaverse fiction. High social status. Elites. 20% of society
- Strong and smart, highly protective of what they perceice as their own.
- Produce pheromones to show dominance
- Affected by Omegas who go into heat, can go into rut
- Dominant one in relationship
Beta
- Middle class, 70% of society
- Can’t produce pheromones, less affected by alphas or omegas pheromones
- Unaffected bt omegas heat
Omega
- Bottommost in the hierarchy
- Rarest type, 10% of society
- Have heat cycle monthly
- Produce special pheromones and high chance of pregnancy during heat
- Jobless and treated as sex slaves
- No medicine to supress heat as of yet
Heat
- Mating period for omegas, happens monthly
- Last 1-7 days
- Becomes sexually arroused and unable to work
- Their sweat glands produce pheromones that attracts Alphas to mate
- Can trigger an Alpha’s rut during heat
Rut
- Similar to an Omega’s heat
- Alpha’s mating period
- Usually triggers by an Omega going into heat
- Lose all rationallity and consumes by lust
Marking
- The mark is put during a heat cycle
- Alphas bites the omegas on their neck
- Alphas and Omegas who are marked can’t smell pheromones besides each other, they are bound for life
- Marking can’t be undone
- A marked Omega can only be satisfied by their partner
