"I just finished 'Hidden Gem' and 'The Ticking Leap', and I'm honestly hooked on the concept. The 'story within a story' is executed so well, and the character is incredibly intriguing, there’s a certain calmness to him that hints at a lot of hidden experience. I’m dying to know if there's a sequel in the works! I have so many questions about the contrast between the two narrative layers and the specific choices made for the main characters. Highly recommended for readers who love a bold, unconventional story that keeps you thinking."

"This story is really interesting, good plot and has potential to go all in as full novel. Love the authors very tongue in cheek writing style and little wink to the audience here and there. Needs a touch of edits but overall a great short read 👍"

"I read the first ‘story’, and I deliberately placed the word in quotation marks, and this isn’t meant as an attack or complaint dear author, but to me Hidden gem, and The Ticking leap can’t be read as separate stories. To me they’re two chapters of the same story. That said, I'm very curious to see how the story will unfold!"

"I am so proud of you, this story is a complete turn around from Hidden Gem on all fronts. Still needs some work. You have great descriptive skills, just don't go into overload.
